Red Scale

Usually I don't write reviews but this one was mindblowing, endings of these kind of episodes make me so impatient to wait another week for another episode. Even got a sneak peek at Sukuna there.

Animation (10/10): Probably the best I've seen so far

Plot (9.5/10): really didn't expect the outcome of the fight to be this good. It's not your average shounen fight.

Music(10/10): Extremely unique and pleasing at the Same time.

If MAPPA continues to imprison their workers and throw out so many more amazing episodes in this arc then this might become a top 3 anime for me. Even though I got manga spoilers I just keep screaming "Hype" in my head. It's truly worth watching.

Wow, mappa animation team did this fight justice in my honest opinion. I mean the whole episode was just Yuji and choso which I am so glad they did by the way. But the way the fight was handled compared to the manga ... chefs kiss. Perfect adaptation and the animation was honestly insane. The way the fight went and the way Yuji Itadori and choso battled it away in Shibuya was just insane to watch throughout the whole episode. I couldn't honestly take my eyes off the screen as every moment was either action or crazy lure for the story. 10/10 episode In my opinion and Shibuya arc STARTS NOW. Credit to mappa animators tbh because they went off.

To sum up my review in a nutshell... it only felt like ten minutes had passed.

Damn what an episode, easily one of the best the show has to offer and it's only going to get better with the arc continuing to have great moment after moment.

Some breathtaking choreography, which I felt like matched the nice and fast pace the fight had. And with the art that Gege(the author) displayed in the manga, it's nice to see it get done justice by the animators, artists, directors, and even the different narrators who give a great sense of telling how the technique works or something simple of what's going on.

Honestly this episode was perfect and arguably my favorite in JJK. The 23 minutes felt like 10 tbh.

This is the result of when CGI,2D animatiin, ligthing, concept art, and a good design all come together. The art supports the mood and choreographry of the fight and it never feels like it is the other way around.

We are see the first real fight with one of the best written characters in JJK, Choso. Not only was the fught a blessing to our eyes, it left users with a mysterious ending that only makes you ask for more.

Incredible... just incredible... All the small things are appreciated and thank you to everything who came together to make this amazing episode and do it justice from the manga.

My favorite moments:

• The don't stop from Inumaki when the screen does dark to show the episode title
• The blending of all art disciplines and the amazing ebbs and flows of the fight
• Showing how and why the blood manipulation cursed technique is cherished among the Kamo clan
• The ending leaving you begging for what happened at the end.

The fight many were waiting for though i was still reserved a bit as i dont know how good Choso is but from the opening shot of Yuji's shadow running composed with the no running sign i knew i was in for the best directed episode... And i was not disappointed... Nothing short of a masterclass not only in terms of direction but animation, lighting, music, the setup, the absolute one of the best hand to hand combat choreographed in all of anime enhanced by the mix use of martial arts and their individual techniques like what is MAPPA this was movie quality.

As confused i was by the ending, i am glad to be alive to have witnessed such a beautifully animated episode i am so happy i am watching this weekly even though its hard to wait each week i always look forward to it making it even more exciting and then treated this well for my patience.

I am so glad im watching JJK. My favorite by far.
