This is the result of when CGI,2D animatiin, ligthing, concept art, and a good design all come together. The art supports the mood and choreographry of the fight and it never feels like it is the other way around.
We are see the first real fight with one of the best written characters in JJK, Choso. Not only was the fught a blessing to our eyes, it left users with a mysterious ending that only makes you ask for more.
Incredible... just incredible... All the small things are appreciated and thank you to everything who came together to make this amazing episode and do it justice from the manga.

My favorite moments:
- The don't stop from Inumaki when the screen does dark to show the episode title
- The blending of all art disciplines and the amazing ebbs and flows of the fight
- Showing how and why the blood manipulation cursed technique is cherished among the Kamo clan
- The ending leaving you begging for what happened at the end.
Usually I don't write reviews but this one was mindblowing, endings of these kind of episodes make me so impatient to wait another week for another episode. Even got a sneak peek at Sukuna there.
Animation (10/10): Probably the best I've seen so far
Plot (9.5/10): really didn't expect the outcome of the fight to be this good. It's not your average shounen fight.
Music(10/10): Extremely unique and pleasing at the Same time.
If MAPPA continues to imprison their workers and throw out so many more amazing episodes in this arc then this might become a top 3 anime for me. Even though I got manga spoilers I just keep screaming "Hype" in my head. It's truly worth watching.

This episode of Jujutsu Kaisen was an absolute spectacle! It was sheer madness and perfection rolled into one. The lighting during the fight scenes was breathtaking, creating a visually stunning experience. The innovative camera movements added a dynamic touch, making the 2D fights come to life in a perfectly drawn manner. The backgrounds were vibrant and beautiful, enhancing the overall visual appeal. This episode stands out as one of the best-animated ones I've ever seen, reaching the level of movie quality. The outstanding OST only amplified the intensity. Kudos to Studio MAPPA for delivering this exceptional episode!
"In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, a madness and perfection blend, Where the lighting paints the scenes, a sight to transcend.
Innovative camera dances, a dynamic story to append, 2D fights, flawlessly drawn, emotions to suspend.
Backgrounds burst with hues, a vibrant, colorful trend, An animated masterpiece, where art and motion commend.
A symphony in every frame, a poetic episode to defend, Studio MAPPA, your brilliance, we fervently commend."

It's crazy how this show still manages to keep raising its own bar. Between Hidden Inventory Part 3, Hidden Inventory Part 4, Gate Open, and now this episode, Jujutsu Kaisen continues to shock and astound with effortless ease. Most modern anime series, or television shows in general, they can only dream of having just one of these masterpiece episodes, like this; and with just season 2, JJK has multiple. Plot description ahead, and with potential spoilers, read carefully. In short, if you're in the future reading this, on the fence about the show, watch it immediately, if not for the episodes above and this one. Every episode is worth the journey.
It's all Yuji this episode, and the cinematography continues to shine. Clever lighting choices and shot composition just makes every moment so tense, especially in the second half of this episode. MAPPA's animation goes without saying. The animation is fantastic as always, and the fight choreography feels so fluid. This episode is a stern reminder that nobody is safe, and the intense violence doubles up on that. The fight between Yuji and Choso is absolutely phenomenal, an instant top 5 favorite for the season in my book. It all rolls out so perfectly, and just when you think you know how it will play out, your expectations are flipped on it's head. Tension is communicated so well in this show, and this episode is no different. The lack of music near the end was a fantastic choice-sometimes no music at all makes a scene hit that much harder, and this episode is a shining reminder of that.
Just, wow.

Wow.. this episode was just a crazy rollercoaster ride of great action and animation from beginning to end! I was not bored for a second and it felt like the episode was over too quickly!
This episode sees Yuji Itadori face off against Choso.. brother to Curse Wombs he previously defeated! The blood manipulation was INCREDIBLE and Mappa did an outstanding job at animating it! It was a visual spectacal to behold and the fluent animation and movements made this a feast for the eyes!
The fight got more and more intense as it didn't seem there were any clear winner! Soundtrack did a great job at conveying the exciting emotions!
The ending was shocking! Even a bit scary and unnerving! I have no clue where this goes other than it feels like the crazy stuff has just begun!
