Thunderclap - Part 2

Genuinely best episode of all time of Jujutsu Kaisen.. I am long term fan of the show and manga, going on four years now. I was utterly astonished by the fantastic quality of this episode despite the utterly insane time schedule given to animation staff to work on this episode. I have never been as captivated watching an animated episode of anything ever as I was watching this fantastic feat of artistry. Edge of seat, jaw all thje way on the floor, gripping my hair it was just so amazingly good. The aesthetics, colours, OST, additional scenes, choreography, general animation quality and voice acting was all just so amazing.. such a fantastic team of animators working on this project. Thank you to all the animation staff and voice actors for producing something so cool! This whole season has totally been surpassing my expectations over and over again.

I am completely stunned! I dont even know what to say! This surpassed anything I had imagined!

Last week was crazy.. but this.. this was something else! The amount of destruction was to much to comprehense! Cars, trains, plains, concrete, buildings.. yeah you name it.. flying through the air like leaves in the wind! This was shibuya DESTRUCTION!! Sukuna just flexing his abilities, laughing like this caotic scene was the funniest thing in the world, gave me chills!

The end was heartbreaking, knowing the VA for Yuji actually broke down recording his lines! RAW EMOTION!

The animators did a job that was out of this world! I know you have been working past you limits to give us this masterpiece.. so thank you! Thank you for it all!! You guys deserve so much better! Mappa should treat their staff better, otherwise they will loose a lot of talent! Quality over quantity PLEASE!

JJK season 2 have gone above and beyond and delivered some of the best animated fights in recent memory!

Next week looks like all pain!

I almost died from this episode because of its extraordinary animation and adaption. This is a gift from god himself. I would sacrifice my life for this anime and i will be like sukuna if i have to get more episodes like this. The adaptation was perfect, no flaws and no disappointment from me and those around me. I will think about this tonight while i get some beauty sleep. Thank you to the animators and directors. You all have done gods work and it will go down in human history and be represented as a step for humankind evolution. Without this masterpiece, we wouldn't be living right now. I thank my mama for giving me birth to me so i can see this one of a kind, glorious, beautiful, spectacularly, revolutionary, world changing, life changing, soul changing, beyond the gates of heaven changing, episode! This is not a usual episode, but one that will go down in a history book for generations to look back on and studied.

I'm speechless, considering the surrounding circumstances of the production, it can not stop the cheer will of the full force THE ENTIRE TOP ANIMATORS IN THE INDUSTRY COMBINED.

A quick history of animators: there are 3 teams of freelance animators in Japan that are closely linked together, which they are the main sources every insane animation we've seen in recent years.

The first team of "Seshimo Team": are those freelancers that currently closely work at Studio MAPPA, including the light of TNK who participate in this EP.

The second (not)team are the lights of Vincent Chansard, the man that carried modern One Piece animation, and Weilin Zhang, who's many named "the best animator of all time", they also participate in this EP

The last team is "Team Go", lead by Hakuyu Go, considered as the best animators team, Go himself, Miso, and Arai, the three leader of the team, ALSO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EP.

I don't want to review the visual much, BUT GET IT, "you will not experience anything like this ever again in the foreseeable future, as this 3 teams NEVER EVER come together ever, until today.

This is the best animated, best action episode in anime history, period.

I just had to come back here after the recent release of blu ray volume 6. The "remaster" of this episode was phenomenal. It included extended and unfinished cuts from all star animators like Weilin Zhang and Vincent Chansard along with additions from animators who weren't initially a part of the episode such as Babi JD and K1RO. The content is mostly the same in the episode, with just longer and more dynamic fight scenes. Some of these fight scenes actually provide interesting insight into Sukuna's mindset during the battle. There is a scene where he throws feints at Mahoraga to see how he defends against them, and it's incredibly interesting and unique. Basically, the episode was already phenomenal, but it was elevated further by the masterful BD additions.
