I admitt, I was tempted to see it as a sort of version of Run boy run. Of Woodkid. And, no doubts, many common points. But the virtue of The Shore is to remind, not be a manifesto. To remind the vulnerability of parents and their death, to remind the end of childhood and the discover of reality out of games of age, to remind the temptations and guides and desire to be at destination who is radical different by what you figure or expect.

Cinematography and close ups, like wise performance of young Walter Sheen or the profour inspired end reminding the cicle of life are the solid virtues of this fascinating short film.
