Given the opening half, I wasn't sure how they were going to tie everything up for a series finale, but they did it. The monologue at the end was exceptional and made this weird fluid come out of my eyeball areas. If there was one complaint, it was the ultra-glamorous way they depicted a character in the last minute or two of the episode; it was an odd and unnecessary choice that didn't ring true for these characters and that seemed to position that character's beauty more as an external quality than an internal one. That being said, though, that was literally my only complaint. I was also wondering whether any of the grandkids had powers, but I may have missed any hints of that due to the aforementioned eye fluid. Regardless, 10/10.

This ending was exceptional. It stayed true to the central themes, message, character and charm of the show. While elements of it felt a little rushed, the director & writers obviously worked with the time they had from the studio to write a fitting and satisfying conclusion to the story they set out to tell, and I can't think of a more fitting ending to the show. It focused on the human qualities and characteristics that make Clark/Superman super. Exceptional performances from Tyler Hochelin and surrounding cast made for a truly heartfelt send off for the series, with the positive message and themes of the show resonating throughout its 4 year run!
I don't think I have enough word to describe how I feel right now. This show wasn't just about Superman, it wasn't about the fights nor The Man of Steel saving the day, it was always about Clark Kent and Lois Lane, their love, their sons, their friends, they growing older together. And that's what's life is all about, right? Love.
I'm thankful The CW didn't extend it more than it needed to or make it a part of The Arrowverse, because of that I can confidently say this is the best Superman's adaptation of all time. Congratulations to Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch and ALL the cast.
Thank you Superman & Lois, you'll always have a special place in my heart.

This is not an ending most people wanted but it is the ending that superman deserved. I think it was almost a perfect episode, allowing for a great end to a great tv series. The acting has been phenomal from all actors, seeing that the budget was greatly cut I think the visuals and the effects were done very well. I am happy that there wasn't an ending like for the Flash TV-show which made fun of the show and it's characters but this finale kept it's quality. I generally think that this is the best superman presentations. Apart from this I would say it is the best superhero TV-show based on how quality was kept, with every season being amazing. Unlike Flash and Arrow which derailed. Although they are my more liked shows, this is definitely a contender. Truly well done to the cast and directors that made this show top quality.
