Finally, Pradhan rallies the whole Phulera behind him to fight one last battle for glory. Abhishek finds himself too deep into the murky waters of village politics and loses his objectivity.

Ganesh drops Rinky and Abhishek at the outskirts and goes with Raveena to the MLAs house to buy the horse. Ganesh is brilliant in his acting and pretends to be arrogant and rich.

Chottan is disparaging towards Ganesh and says that the horse costs more than his car (an Alto). Ganesh takes out the bundle of notes given by Prahlad and hands it over to Chottan. MLA Chandrakishore bids a tearful goodbye to Sitara, his beloved horse. He promises Sitara to visit him at Jaunpura village, which is where Ganesh is from.

Ganesh is hailed as a hero in Phulera and Manju declares him to be a son and not a son-in-law of the village. Bhushan notices the horse in the village and informs Chottan. Chandrakishore is livid and decides to attack Phulera with his entire force. Bhushan intercepts Chandrakishore when his convoy enters Phulera and begs him not to resort to bloodshed as that would be disastrous. Bhushan says that he needs one chance to convince the villagers that Brijbhushan did a wrong thing by purchasing the MLA's horse by deceit.

It is 1 pm, and Chandrakishore gives Bhushan till 3 pm to retrieve the horse. Bhushan calls for a council meeting and asks for the horse to be returned. He warns that there will be a bloodbath in the village if the horse is not returned. Kranti says that the issue is between Chandrakishore and Brijbhushan and this does not concern the prestige of village Phulera.

Bambahadur disagrees with this and says that Brijbhushan supported a person from the village and took on Chandrakishore and hence the matter is of the village. The council is afraid that keeping the horse means putting the lives of every villager in danger. Prahlad says that the villagers can brandish their own guns to repel Chandrakishore and his entourage.

Manju considers all aspects and decides to keep the horse in the village. But she also says that the people of Phulera will not fire the first bullet. The village prepares for war. Bhushan and Kranti decide to act like true leaders and plant themselves between the forces of Brijbhushan and Chandrakishore. BDO (Diwakar Dhyani) and SHO (Vishwanath Chatterjee) also arrive in Phulera. Chandrakishore tells then that he will only wait for 15 more minutes. They then meet Manju and try to explain the situation to her. Manju refuses to return the horse.

As the deadline is over, Chandrakishore enters the village and brings his forces face to face with the villagers in front of the council office. Guns are drawn at each other. The BDO and SHO stand between the 2 forces to try and get the MLA to stand down. The DM calls the BDO and asks to speak with Chandrakishore. DM brings the MP (Swanand Kirkire) on the line and gets him to speak with Chandrakishore. The MP explains to Chandrakishore that politics is not played like a wrestling match, but more like chess. Chandrakishore decides to retreat.

15 days later, and it is the day before from Abhishek's MBA exam. Abhishek has to travel to the city to write his exam. As Abhishek is waiting at the bus stop, 2 armed men arrive on motorbike and attack them. Brijbhushan, Vikas and Prahlad were also with Abhishek, and all were caught unawares. The bus arrives and the trip push Abhishek into the bus as the gunmen return to fire again on the trio. The trio try to run and hide but are cornered. The gunmen shoot Brijbhushan. Abhishek finds out later that night and comes to visit Brijbhushan in the hospital. He was shot in the shoulder and is now out of danger.

The village council knows that Bhushan gave their location to the MLA and his goons. The MLA comes with Bhushan and his goons to the hospital. Abhishek meets them outside the hospital with Prahlad and Vikas. Abhishek accuses Bhushan of treason and slaps him. While MLA taunts Abhishek that Brijbhushan ordered the attack on himself to gain public sympathy. A brawl erupts with both sides hitting each other with whatever they can get their hands on. They are eventually all arrested by the police. Abhishek tells Vikas at the police station that his exam went well.

DM announces Panchayat elections in Ballia and orders 10,000 soldiers to be deployed to maintain peace and uphold law and order.
