Hold the Fort

Feels good watching a flick with a simple concept many of us can get behind and enjoy. The length is perfect and gets right into the action and comedy and stays with it. Everything feels tight from the story to the action sequences to the dialogue. There's no monkeying around with this film. I'd watch it anytime anywhere.

No pun intended - this is a fun movie ... with a lot of splatter (blood, gore and violence) ... fun as in goofy and silly by the way. You have to dig the humor to actually enjoy the madness. You also have to be very forgiving .... the main character here does a lot of things ... and mainly wrong.

Now you could argue that most people would be overwhelmed to put it mildly ... true, but still this is a movie so we'd expect better.

Doesn't matter because the monster mayhem is big in this one. And the ideas are really very well thought of. Just enjoy the ride ... this could have some sequel offsprings ... but as of now, this is the only thing that exists, so take it with a grain of salt and just go with the flow.
