A brilliant work from Antony sir! An incredible slow burn movie with raw action👏🏻 This movie deserves much more recognition than this! A super work from the director Ajith Mampally🙌🏻😃 watch with low expectations which may lead you to a very interesting side of this movie.

The plot itself wasn't that fresh but it still felt good watching it, it has many realistic senses and the direction and effects were so good and most of the actors did an excellent work. A plot twist I never expected but got amazed at, the movie changed the whole point of view I had for it and turned it upside down! Antony work in Kondal was so good which makes me want to see more of his work in the future. AMAZING!😌👏🏻

The movie itself was raw and by that I mean it belongs more to the mature type of people. If you're looking for action, emotional depth and revenge based movie, Kondal does a fantastic one!

Kondal of 13 October 2024, a Malyalam film on Netflix. This film a wonderful thriller. Manuel(Antony Verges) comes back to his hometown from Middle East. He does not have any job on the hand. So he joins a team of other local fishermen to go for fishing on a trawler ( which was specifically built for shooting of this film). Before leaving, he indulges into fight with local goons who also are in the team of fishermen. It is revealed little later the reason of Manuel going for fishing. I have seen only in Hollywood films that these films are filmed for maximum time in the sea. However, Kondal, an Indian film is shot almost 90% in the mid of high sea. Here too, there are some good fights and other thrills. The film has been filmed with wonderful cinematography, performances and actions. A good film to watch.

• The main character "Manuel" lives in a village- After getting into trouble, he decides to work on a fishing ship- He goes to work on the ship with about 15 crew members.- A death occurs, due to which the crew members get scared and get divided into two groups.

• After this, the story takes a new interesting turn and further events are shown in the movie.- Further, Jake reveals some new twists about Manuel's brother Daniel, then his revenge mode starts.

80% of the movie has been shot in the sea.

Sea scenes have been shown very well.

Mysterious things have been shown.

The scene with a fish is very beautiful.

Manual's story is full of trouble, fear, and mystery which will keep you glued to your seat."

Although Kondal had the ingredients to be a decent revenge film,While some moments feel predictable, the strong Performance.

A revenge thriller story well scripted and portrayed on the backdrop of tempestuous sea. 🌊🌊

The plot of the story revolves around the minor conflicts and vengeance inside a fishing boat that had a vital connection with the past incidents that happened in the wild sea.

The writer trio has scripted the story brilliantly packed with action sequences and heavy emotions. Ajit Mampally has conceived the idea and rendered the story through the characters and the vengeance and emotions were brilliantly portrayed through the naked eyes of the characters in the movie.👌👌

Pepe has again proved his mettle in handling action sequences in the movie. 🔥🔥Brilliant performances by Shabeer Kallarackal,Pramod Veliyanadu,Nandu,Rahul Rajagopal,Sarath Sabha,Manikandan & Dixon.

The action sequences in the sea were covered brilliantly by the DOP Deepak Menon like never before in a Malayalam movie and the hands behind the VFX,Aswin Sanfran and editing table,Sreejith Sarang is worth mentioning for hooking the audience into the movie. 👌Ajit Mampally has splendidly crafted his debut directorial with a brilliant casting. 👏👏

A clean revenge thriller with heavy action sequences,layered emotional moments which is worth a theatre experience for an edge of the seat entertainment.

Weekend blockbusters delivered another Enjoyable Action movie ; set in the Backdrops of Sea, majority of scenes are shot in sea gave a fresh feel and use of VFX IS ok ; especially the Shark scene crafted pretty well in respect to its limited Budget !

Editing is the problem i felt the main issue here, too many unnecessary long stretched scenes, a lesser runtime could have been more impactful and the conflict between the lead actors did not passed to audience to feel the emotion well !

BGM and Cinematography is Good and Actions are Nicely done AND Antony shown his Swag in mass role and all other actors did fine!

If you want actions in New setting ,this one is Pretty Decent option to Watch it in Big screen !
