I understand that some people may find this a bit 'too mutch', but I personally always loved TV and movies that were 'too much', so this is 100% what I wanted from this show?

Yes, this show always has a lot of ideas, and their execution is not landing perfectly all of the time, with the current season leaning very hard into the camp and parody, edging into the area of feeling like a parody of itself instead, not like a parody of a genre. But I personally enjoyed this seasons new direction of being intentionally 'too much', as I think it gives the show the opportunity to feel more unique.

While the last few episodes where enjoyable for me, this episode is the first one where I actually feel like the show actually reached its potential. The documentary gimmick is so campy and weird, but also visually engaging, somehing new happening to the camera angels every few seconds, different perspectives on the characters and there personality revealed.

But the best part about this episode: Seeing how everyone reacts to being filmed or not filmed. Making every shot something actually filmed the reality of the show is facinating, as it makes every character react differently to the situation of being filmed. Short looks into the camera, doing jokes and quibs more aimed at the film than at the other character + the contrast of people sometimes not knowing that they are filmed. And the amazing scenes with multiple people filming and cathing different aspects of the film, in a way that actually tells us things about the characters from how they film a situation!

I have seen others not really getting this gimmick, but for me this worked absolutely brilliantly!

This episode stands out as my absolute favorite, not just of the season but across all four seasons of the show. It was filled with wit and humor, both in overt and subtle ways, which made it even more enjoyable.

The change in format, along with the creative use of different "camera" styles, was executed so brilliantly and added a refreshing twist. The trio's dynamic is something I adore so much.

It's surprising to read some of the negative reviews, where people call it over the top or criticize its campiness. Clearly, those critics aren't true fans who appreciate the cleverness and uniqueness this show consistently delivers. Instead, it feels like they missed the point of the episode and what makes this series so special.

It seems I am not alone in noticing the quality of this season (so far), has not been up to par with previous seasons.

I was starting to get worried that I was losing interest. I was getting close to bailing on the show. I would love to know why the quality dropped. Initially I thought the insertion of too many big names made it seem a bit off? It's hard to explain but I tend to not enjoy shows or movies with a lot of big names. It takes me out of the story.

But in my opinion this episode was reminiscent of the quality we all know and love.

It was funny, creative, and suspenseful.

I hope this marks the start of an improvement in this season.

This episode delivers the delightfully weird charm that made Season 1 so irresistible. Every line feels catered to it's audience, who I think loves the self-aware humor and eccentric character dynamics. The episode really leans into its own quirks without apology, and it's clear the writers trust their audience to embrace the madness.

I very much enjoyed the "found footage" concept. The pacing is brisk and the mystery deepens with more cheeky twists. Season 4 has great tonal balance, and it overall feels better than the previous one. Only Murders here is at its most confident, weird, and wonderful. I would totally listen to this episode as a podcast!

OMITB is not taking its audience for granted.

Even if the plot revolves around someone getting murdered in the building every season ,it still finds ways to be creative and this time they have knocked it out of the park.

WHAT A PHENOMENAL EPISODE The twist and turns, the way it is shot everything is so brilliantly done. I have no idea who the killer could be!!!!!!!

Musical episodes, episodes with not even a single dialogue, and now a found footage episode?

If OMITB doesnt sweep Emmys next season i dont know what to say All of this is complimented by beautiful acting by each and every character Just brilliant.
