There is an abundance of relevant archive footage and some useful CGI which give one the information on why, when, how and the success (or not) of various weapons.

However, there are several instances of stock footage and images that do not relate to the Second World War. Here are just three of those I spotted in Episode 01:
.
1. At 41:57 we have two engineers conducting what may be wind tunnel tests on an English Electric P.1 Lightning. This could not have taken place until late 1949.
2. At 42:33 they show a set of temperature gauges with a label bearing the date 28,11,68.
3. At 43:54 they show, in the centre of the screen, the segment title " Germany 1929". The background image shows the current Brandenburg Gate with what could be a 1995 Fiat Punto.

I'm reasonably sure that there are many more such instances - and I've only watched Episode 01 :-(

Much of the content has appeared, in the past 60 years, in other programmes.
BUT there were some segments that were new to me.
