She Won't Go Quietly

This promotional clip is outstanding. It expands on the idea of the lead actress, Daniels, speaking with the mothership in various situations-until one time, the ship doesn't respond. From there, the scene escalates into a fight with the xenomorph. It's perhaps the most Ripley-esque moment in "Alien: Covenant": a strong woman battling the alien. Unfortunately, it never made it into the final film. I get it-the events here differ from what actually unfolds in the movie. This fight appears to take place in space, giving the impression of a more dynamic, action-driven film rather than the psychological thriller Covenant ultimately became. A shame, really, because I think this clip is excellent.
