Sleeper

6th Season has been relatively week thus far; just hints that it will be one jumped-the-shark season too many.

The show has always been a cartoon with relatively numerous, shallow characters, but the long list of forgettables were added to in the episode, however for the staple cast to have to endure the dumbest lines, such as the final scene is beyond unforgivable.

So much wrong with the writing on this one that I can see by the writers' names, they are just staff writers told to pad out the final season for Netflix.

A shame too, as Ralph Macchio was directing.

But the forgettable writing is unforgivable. It's more Power Rangers than classic Cobra Kai. God I hope it doesn't turn into a disappointment like final season Game of Thrones, all bluff and bluster and no pay-off.

At the moment, that's where I fear it's going if this is the standard and where we're at. I'll give it another episode or two and it better pick up.

The writing for this show has been painfully bad through the first three episodes of this season.

Johnny Lawrence was genuinely hilarious at times in the first few seasons. I haven't cracked a smile yet in season 6. Johnny hosting a girls slumber party wasn't even remotely amusing. It was crossing over into creepy territory.

I couldn't be any more bored than I am with the Kreese storyline.

Why would anyone in the writers' room think that trashing Miyagi's name was a good idea?

Chozen abandoning his life in Okinawa to hang out as an unpaid sensei is ridiculous.

I'm not sure I can finish this show. It should have ended two seasons ago.
