Tolerance Is Extinction - Part 3

Good lord thus season was good. Emmy winning good. X-Men '97's first season is an absolute beast of an achievement. As a long-time fan of the original animated series, I was thrilled to see how the show perfectly balanced nostalgia with fresh, new ideas. The creators did an amazing job of honoring the past while also forging their own path, making it feel like a true continuation rather than a mere rehash.

The writing was top-notch, soapy and exciting in the best way. These are some of Marvel's best characters and everyone one of them is treated with respect and not as a gimmick.

The season left me absolutely craving more, and I cannot wait to see where the show goes from here.

This series has been a thrill from start to finish there has only been 1 filler episode which wasn't even a bad watch at all. The writing is amazing, the action scenes are incredible and the animation is pleasing to the eye.

The way they were able to take bits and pieces from comics to make a story that Is better than a lot of the source material, whilst also sticking true to the source material was impressive.

The way you also didn't know what was exactly going to happen even if you had red the comics was also pleasing.

The only bad thing is knowing it's going to be at least a year till season 2.

What a ride... what...a.. RIDE!! This was one incredible finale that delivered in every way that a finale should deliver!

My expectations were high, do to have amazing this season has been, and I think the finale met my expectations in ways i could have never anticapated!

The writing were spectacular, capturing the arcs that werebset up, and the themes of the season! Magneto was the star, no doubt!

The action was incredible! Some of the best action animation of any animated show, to a point where it was almost cinematic! Edge of your seat!

Soundtrack.. on point!

The ending shows how this show is not over being crazy and creative

I have never been this excited for a second season in a long time!

This episode, surprised me. In this episode, I learned that Rogue can breathe in space. In this episode, I learned that Nightcrawler can breathe in space. In this episode, I learned that sunspot can breathe in space. In this episode, I learned that Jubilee can breathe in space. Why are they able to breathe in space it makes no sense. The only one that makes sense to me would be Rogue. She has the powers of Miss Marvel or Carol Danvers. And she could breathe in space. But nightcrawler didn't make any sense to me. Maybe sunspot could breathe in space because of his powers I don't know. I don't know enough about him. Jubilee is just ridiculous.

The X-Men either those following Professor X or Magneto decide to bury their differences and team up to take on Bastion.

The Prime Sentinels continue to create havoc around the world.

Bastion upgrades himself and flies towards an asteroid. He plans to use the asteroid to destroy all life.

The American military fire missiles at Bastion. The X-Men try to stop the asteroid crashing on Earth.

I noticed elements that have previously been used in the 20th Century Fox X-Men movies. I felt Phoenix emerging and dealing with matters made everything look too easy, but I expected her to appear.

I found the finale overlong as it also tried to set up the second season. Overall this was enjoyable first series.
