Wow I really like this drama, finally I found a good drama for the beginning of this year besides colossal drama. You know these few months and last year we were presented with so many q A good historical drama is good, but it's really hard to find modern romance these days. At first I was recommended by my friend and I wasn't really sure about this kind of army feel. I watched one episode and was quite interested, the story became more exciting day by day and the acting of the male and female leads was very good. They really are a perfect match, very sweet. It's just that some of the cgi seems a bit less smooth But it's okay, I see this drama through the plot and story, and how the team develops each character. Because I think Chinese dramas are famous for being complex in character portion distribution. I really like the story of the background of the main character's best friend's sister and her theme, as well as the story about the male reporter and his mother. I think this packaging is good. And yes, the scenes are very adorable and make me fall in love, plus the song composition. I think the opening song is very suitable for use in a wedding event. Very romantic.

Highly recommended, in my country it is very popular, it has been a hot search and top 1 for more than a week. The story is very good, the acting of the male actors has developed a lot, the chemistry is...It fits the female protagonist very well. They are very sweet. I watched the making-of footage where they are very dedicated to this drama. That's why his character is so loved, maybe we don't even find such a character in real life. The male actor is so good he can change his emotions and facial expressions so quickly, it hurts to see him fighting his ptsd. He seems to be really going through it, and yeah but he still Can smile and be kind to everyone.

The acting of the female lead is also not inferior, I cried when she cried, there was even a 3-minute scene without dialogue. But she was able to carry it out very well.

The background music is very supportive, very fitting for a drama setting outside of China. There is one that really gave me goosebumps. The title is white olive tree by Budapest orchestra, sorry if I'm wrong The music made me lose myself in the silence, and for a moment I felt the suffering of some people out there who experienced things like those in the drama. Seeing how hard it was for them and the little kids.

The White Olive Tree might be my favorite drama of the year. Because there are many lessons that I can learn. Maybe for some people this drama is slow and boring, but Every episode enjoys the momentum presented epically by this drama, you will get new meaning and perspective in your life.

I was questioning whether to watch white olive tree as I have seen a lot of people were talking about it on social media. I watched the white olive tree with no expectations and finished in awe..A lot of people would say it is trauma and I agree. I will say this is not to watch if you're easily triggered or not emotionally stable because it's got a lot going on from ear to death to PTSD to torture and suffering. It was both great and traumatic. It was worth the watch though , Chen Zheyuan's acting was top tier and I was truly moved by his character's experience .It was truly a masterpiece, yet traumatising. The drama was worth the watch , it was a heartbreaking story that reminded me to be kind to everyone as we truly don't know what they are going through. A bitter sweet ending that made my heart ache. The actor did so well at portraying their characters emotions , I truly felt a rollercoasters of emotions whilst watching this show.

Very very good drama, in terms of story, acting, plot, music. Please..... You should watch it and don't forget to support this drama. The first episode already made me fall in love and smile to myself. I even went back to watch this. And I am willing to subscribe to VIP Premium. This drama reminds me of descendant of the sun. Only the story is more beautiful the white olive tree. You know every minor character is packed with details of their background. Liang Jie and Chen Zheyuan's acting is beyond doubt. The only military romance drama that can compete with Korea's DOTS. And yes, I have watched several Korean remakes of dots before. Both from Thailand and Vietnam and China my Hero. However, the only one that can bring the romantic Drakor vibes is twot. Chen Zheyuan deserves this award. He has repeatedly shaken up the overseas market in China.

I started this series hopeful because the production and actors and to say I was disappointed is understating.

I've never watched a more self-pitying, self indulgent and whiny show. Its so obvious that creators were begging for tears. Watching felt like someone kept poking me in the eye to make me cry but the result wasn't tears it just left me sore.

And how are two depressed people supposed be in a relationship? Make it make sense! And everything they have been through they just want to go back to the warzone???? What, is that supposed to be heroic???

And don't even get me started on the awful dialogue. Half the time its just painfully awkward silences. No one talks like that.

If they were trying to make a soft romantic tear jerker like hidden love and the first frost, they didn't just miss the mark they flew millions of miles passed it.
