I love the idea of this show and you know it doesn't have the highest budget its only on YouTube people complain about voice acting when it is amazing quality when its not even bad and they can't even do half as good! I enjoy it first and second episode it did take long to come out because they don't have a big animation team! But this is a cool show this is coming from someone in between the age of 10-13 because i don't want to put my age out there. But its so fun! I like the funky idea i do miss gummigoo though i hope he comes back i don't think cane is a good character anymore including jax he is so mean and annoying!
Building off the pilot this episode further harnessed the potential of this show improving on all fronts. More great music. Even better visuals and animation. More of (most of) the characters. A few new faces! Additionally a few jokes that actually really hit. It was a fun time and one I thoroughly enjoyed. It makes me excited to see more from this team as so far it's handling some themes I haven't really seen other shows tackle much. I really hope they keep this momentum going and I feel that I'm likely to watch (and potentially review) the entire series as it airs. All in all a great step in the show that makes me wait with anticipation for what next the show has in store.
I reviewed the Pilot some months ago, and I wasn't impressHOLD ON, DON'T DOWNVOTE ME YET.
Some time passed and they released a bumper/commercial called "POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE" with animation and everything. A mere 3 minutes of what's ultimately an advertising for the merch, nothing unusual EXCEPT, it had a surprisingly snappier pace, the jokes make me chuckle, and it felt *extra*.
So at this point I thought "well, maybe they'll stepped it up in the next episode to this standard and it'll be better". Turns out I was right! Episode 2 is much, much better than the Pilot. First of all: the pacing is snappier. They removed all the unnecessary pauses, everything is much more dynamic. Dialogue I think has gotten a little bit sharper too. The jokes are better delivered, so even some throwaway lines gave me a smile.
I didn't burst out laughing or anything, this is still pretty much Tumblr comfort food like I said in my previous review, but now's been upgraded to something much more charming and entertaining to watch. I'll say this too: surprisingly decent emotional moments. It's still a SatAM cartoon with an internet edge, so it's not that deeply written or anything, but I think the voice acting with the better directing made the whole existential crisis arc of the Crocodile dude more engaging than I expected, even if I knew a mile away that it was a setup for a joke.
Also, I should mention, the animation and attention to detail has been improved too. I expected that but it also has better shots and better visual composition, so now it feels like a profesional show that could air on TV. I think there's still a lot of room for the show to get better (hopefully it can break the barrier of just being a comfort show and start being more witty, have jokes with more punch), but as it is now, it's gotten to the stage where it's genuinely charming and I'm engaged. I'll keep watching.

This episode solidifies how impressive this show is. An incredible step forward for Indie animation on YouTube, The writing, animation quality, and themes are not only well above the expected quality of YouTube animation, but even exceed some fully funded shows.
Even if you are not interested in high energy, "random", disturbing/existential, or cartoonish humor, you may still love the show for its art, and themes of death and existence. If that sort of humor is not your thing, you may find this show is not for you. However, even if that is the case, I encourage you to give it a chance. There is something in this show for everyone. Except for kids. Be sure not to mistake it for a kids show.

The animation looks alright for an indie cartoon but other than that I have nothing nice I can say about this crap. The concept is somewhat interesting as well I guess. The voice acting is horrendous especially the stupid rabbit guys. This show is just mad overhyped. It also is supposed like indie horror but there is nothing scary about this in the slightest. No hate to the creators or anybody who works on the show I just despise this insanely overhyped show. Maybe episode 3 will be better cause this was better than episode 1. Also this episode is just a blatant rip off that early 2010s wizard of Oz movie. Overall 2.1/10.
