Wow, I am at loss for words. Danai did an amazing job with the writing, she really dug deep into the emotion arcs of Rick and Michonne, I can understand both of their perspectives and it just left me torn and had me on this emotional rollercoaster, some parts were funny too. Danai is an accomplished writer she can balance humor and seriousness well after seeing this episode I am looking forward to more of the projects she writes and produces. Give her and Andy all the awards, these two deserve them and more especially Danai because wow. One of the best episodes in Walking Dead History, Awesome job👏
After the horrible seventh and eighth seasons of the original Walking Dead series the last three seasons were a massive improvement. Dead City and Daryl Dixon spin offs were incredible. The Ones Who Live has been surprisingly flawless so far and could be in the running for the best show of the year if you care about awards. You can tell that this franchise was clearly revitalized long ago and shouldn't be overhated over a few I'll admit really bad seasons. I cannot speak for Fear the Walking Dead because I've watched very few episodes. It seems like beating a dead horse actually worked in this instance 😂.
The romance is real, the emotions are surfaced, this is the walking dead I want , this is the walking dead I love , these are the characters I fell in love with, this is the show I'd watch to feel something anything , and it's back "What we" brings it back , all of it. Mark my words this is one of the best episode to be ever televised in the history of television EVER. Long live the brave man. I cannot believe what's to come after this , this kept me hooked to my seats till the very end , I didn't want this episode to end , because I knew what would happen if it were to end , eternal sadness and waiting for the next episode. I just , I can't anymore. This is probably one of the only times when I've supported AMC for actually doing and making something that matters. Thank you Andy, Danai , Scott.
This may not be the general's favorite episode but so far it is mine. Danai Gurira brought back what the other walking dead shows was missing. It was the heart and soul of the characters and this episode was purely dialogue and I LOVED every single moment of it. Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira gave us a powerful performance that this franchise has ever seen.
It is genuinely one of the deepest and best written episodes of The Walking Dead. Rick is not the man he used to be and that creates such an intriguing conflict between the characters. The actors are able to bring the emotions and make you really feel them in every single scene. You can feel Michonne's frustration and also understand Rick's state it really was a rollercoaster of emotions.
Not only Danai can perform she can also produce, write, and be one of the creators one of the show. I'm glad she and Andrew took control of how they're going to take these characters who they've known and understand for years into a different level that we haven't seen before.

Episode 4, "What we" this episode is the slowest of the episodes up until this point and that is by no means bad it's just an episode that explores the relationship between Rick and michonne it's definitely the most emotional episode of the season, it does have some awesome action sequences. This episode is definitely setting up for 2 explosive last episodes and I think this season is gonna end with one hell of a bang. Awesome episode, good to see the series take some time to explore both Rick and michonne, the only thing we haven't really gotten in the show, and thats freaking awesome, i cant stop saying this but the ones who live is some of the best twd we have ever gotten.
