The plot of the movie revolves around Anand Sreebala,a police aspirant who gets involved in an informal investigation of an abruptly closed sensitive case.

Abhilash Pillai has penned the screenplay tactfully accommodating the enormous cast giving them avenues to perform. The story moves in a moderate pace until the mystery and suspense unfolds in the final lap of the story. Abhilash has developed a good character arc for Arjun portraying layered emotions,struggles and insecurities through the story.

Bold performance by Arjun Ashokan supported with notable performances by Aparna,Siddique,Saiju Kurup,Nandu,Malavika Manoj,Indrans,Bashid Basheer,Manoj,Azees & Aniyappan.

Kudos to Vishnu Vinay for executing the story perfectly in his debut directorial and proved his mettle as a filmmaker carrying the legacy of his father. Special mention to Kirandas & Ranjin Raj for their contribution in materializing the movie.

The film Anand Shreebala is a cinematic work belonging to the investigation thriller drama genres, and was directed by Vishnu Vijay.

The narrative under scrutiny herein details the demise of a college student, identified as Merin Joy. The police have stated that the deceased took her own life. However, the parents of the deceased submitted a formal request for a re-investigation. The film then features a young man named Anand, who harbours aspirations of becoming a police officer. The subject is the offspring of Shreebala, who was professionally employed as a police writer and whose life was extinguished by malefactors in Anand in his twelfth year. Anand has expressed a keen interest in conducting an investigation. It is evident that Anand has a history of mental health issues that are attributable to the influence of his mother. The subject was offered a position by his girlfriend, who was working on a crime investigation programme for a television channel. The case of Merin Joy was subsequently handled by the relevant parties. It was revealed that there had been some unusual occurrences during the police investigation. As a consequence of the aforementioned factors, in addition to his mental health issues, he was unsuccessful in his selection process and was not selected by the police. Nevertheless, he is steadfast in his determination to demonstrate the veracity of the Merin Joy case. Whilst law enforcement officials were conducting a re-examination of the case, Anand initiated an independent investigation. The police have already reached a conclusion regarding the incident, determining it to be a suicide. Anand initiated a thorough investigation, encompassing a meticulous review of CCTV footage, a thorough examination of the churches and commercial establishments visited by Merin, and the administration of questions to relevant witnesses. He asserted that a definitive occurrence relating to the case had taken place. Subsequently, he initiated a search for Merin's missing telephone. This has resulted in the identification of Antony as the perpetrator of Merin's murder. The individual was apprehended by police. He pleaded guilty that he is responsible for Merin's death. However, Anand has expressed further reservations. It was at Merin's boyfriend's residence that a gift was discovered, thus prompting further investigations into her demise. In fact, the victim had been murdered by her male partner, Rony. The murder was happened because of merin became aware of his planning behind his mother's prospective assassination, which was to procure wealth. Antony's untruths instigate a subsequent investigation, which in turn results in a police officer providing assistance to Rony in disposing of the corpse and consequently leading to the case being reclassified as a suicide. Ultimately, the police expressed their gratitude to Anand for his investigative efforts.

The narrative was of a high standard, and the direction was of a similarly elevated quality. The film exhibited a realistic progression, incorporating well-placed narrative twists that were skilfully integrated. The performances are of a similarly high standard. Musical scores are notable. The programme has been found to be valuable for repeated watching and recommending.

Movie is a good thriller and gets you hooked towards the last 30 min, when u feel the story is going nowhere. Good acting by the lead actor and the actress playing his mother ( who came back to cinema after a long gap). The other supporting cast have done descent work, bgm is ok, and enhances certain scenes at regular intervals , action is not much, as there was not much scope for it, camera work and other technical aspects are well within the benchmark.

Overall a good suspense ride , which your whole family can watch and have a good time. For the budget they had they have executed a good viewing experience.

The story started off wonderfully with Anands issues and his investigative skills however towards the end the movie kind of lost its fizz. Probably if the run time was 15-20 mins lesser the movie would have been lot more engaging.

Good effort for a first time director. Siddque, saiju kurup etc played their roles really well. One action sequence in the end was done really well with some good drone shots, a good effort by the camera team. Aju Varghese had a brief role.

Overall the movie is one time watchable. Arjun Ashokan has done justice to the main protagonist role and even in good physique to pull of the role.

This movie has amazing camera,great story and awesome direction. Really loved the acting skills of DYSP(Saiju kurup) in this than anyone else. Everyone did a great job and awesome comeback for the actress ( Sangita madhavan nair)who came on as the mother of the hero.

THE ONLY REASON ANYONE WILL HAVE NEGETIVE COMMENT IS BECAUSE IT WAS NOT LEAD BY THEIR FAVOURITES. Arjun Ashokan gave full justice to the role. Must watch movie. The movie has thought through many intrinsic details which is only seen in movies of great class. This movie comes in the class of movies like Forensic, memories etc. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
