I binged this series over a week and not a lot of shows capture my attention like this anymore. As the show went on there was more depth to it. The character development was believable and interesting, the acting was great, although Julianne Moore's performance left a lot to be desired IMO. I had seen this after watching May/December and I just felt like that was a more powerful performance as the same type of character: abusive, manipulative, unhinged. This character felt like a weaker version of that, and it felt fake at times.
