The Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party

If you enjoy shows like overlord, one punch man, or eminence in shadow, this one is for you!

The fight animation is wicked and it's filled with a ton of humorous moments that made me giggle as a 26 year old man. Rick is a likeable main character even though he isn't really the center of the show. This isn't a series to watch for a complex or interesting storyline, but it's one that satisfies my chimp brain itch of overpowered OC's railing against the world.

I look forward to this show every week and wish it was all out so I could binge it in a sitting.

It does one thing really well and that's my favourite kind of anime series.

I just finished watching this anime, and I absolutely loved it! I got hooked right from the first episode and couldn't stop until I'd binged the entire season in one go. The animation was solid, and the character designs stood out, especially the main guy as an older, unlikely hero--it felt fresh and unique. The balance of humor and action was spot-on, keeping things entertaining without ever feeling over-the-top. The intense training scenes were brutal but made his growth feel so satisfying. The powerful party was hilarious and had great dynamics with the protagonist. I'd love to see a season 2 because this story has so much potential to keep going!

Absolutely peak anime when you like the plot of an overpowered main character. The story was very good, in my opinion, with emotion-evoking epic moments. As was the storytelling logically sound. In the fight scenes one could tell that the animations weren't lacking budget. This anime secured a special place in my heart of top animes I've watched!

For those seeking a break from more intense or complicated storylines, this series provides a refreshing dose of straightforward adventure and comedy. I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for something that's both entertaining and stress-free.

(14+) A very good series because of the ridiculously powerful protagonists!! The main character is trained by the toughest adventuring party in the world, and his interactions with "normal" humans as a result of his crazy training is extremely one-sided as a result (even though he doesn't realize how superpowered he is for a long time). I was surprised that one of the initial mini-villains ended up becoming a main character, too. It was a twist I didn't see coming and really added to the series overall as she was really the only voice of sanity that realized just how ridiculously godlike they all were! It was well done! The running gag about his age was pretty funny and I enjoyed the series a lot!
