Led by a standout cast including Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren, this Guy Ritchie-produced series brings slow-burning suspense and emotional weight to the classic gangster story.

Tom Hardy is excellent as Harry Da Souza-quiet, intense, and fiercely loyal. He adds power to every scene he's in. Brosnan and Mirren, though their Irish accents have divided opinions, still grab attention, even if their performances sometimes feel a bit over-the-top. The supporting cast-Geoff Bell, Paddy Considine, and Lara Pulver-help build a world where loyalty, power, and betrayal constantly clash.

Visually, MobLand strikes a good balance between Ritchie-style flair and a more grounded, realistic tone. The cinematography is sharp, the music adds to the mood, and the direction keeps things focused. While the early episodes move slowly, the story picks up mid-season, offering twists that feel natural, not forced. MobLand is nothing but BRILLIANT 💎 Excellent all the way. Great actors, great acting, great story, perfect photography, perfect tempo. And, last but not least, Tom Hardy is absolutely fantastic as Harry.

This really slapped man... So, so good, so gripping, tense but addictive, binge-worthy, although I took a big break until the last three episodes of the season.

Absolutely loved the song on the opening credits, it's so classic MTV, also I cannot believe this IS produced by MTV, they actually do good stuff still???

The cast is absolutely gorgeous, so many talented people all in one place, all at their best, but also the writing and the dialogues really give them a lot to work work with.

Mirren and Brosnan, what a mad couple, what mad individuals and even madder for staying together. Hardy is so expressive with minimal to none face movements, just staring at his opponents like he is five steps ahead. Mythical really. The ladies do a lot of suffering here as mob wives, well except for Mirren who loves it.

It's outrageous, it's gory, it's creatively sweary, pushing all sorts of moral boundaries for sure. Very British. I don't know if I wanna watch the second season though, whenever that will be. I am becoming tired of multi-season shows.

Drawn to the show via some Facebook or YouTube reel, any gangster show with Tom Hardy is going to be worthwhile.

The accents from Brosnan and Mirren are grating and wildly inconsistent. I'd be happy to see far less of them in Season 2.

A stellar cast aside from that, and a familiar story but from a different POV. Not as good as Kin, but they're not trying to be the same show either.

Expecting something radically different now that ground has been laid, a la Love/Hate, where everything flipped after the debut season. More Jan, more Zosia, more Paul please.
