The film's brevity and the predominance of soft, Vietnamese music might not cater to a broad audience, skewing older. The movie's stunning visuals and costumes are undermined by a lackluster plot of a singer's predictable struggle with fame. A Fragile Flower's concise dialogue and short duration limit its emotional impact, with its soft Vietnamese soundtrack appealing to a more niche, older audience. Producing this film was regrettable and reflects poorly on the Vietnamese community.

It's been a long time since I have the pleasure of watching a movie that still holds my attention without all the added visuals such as violence, over the top visual effects, etc. I was surprised to find that I can still be moved by such a warm, simple love story. It reminded me of the time that I shed copious amount of tears over another simple love story, named LOVE STORY. Even my husband, who is never interested in what he called "chick movies ", was contemplative after he saw this. He even made positive comments about it on the way home from the theater, which is a rarefied moment for us. Thanks for making this heart tugging, tear jerking movie.

This film is an absolute letdown, especially to the Vietnamese culture it attempts to portray. With a title that promises so much more, it utterly fails to deliver. There's no storyline to speak of - it's as if the concept of a plot was completely foreign to the creators. Watching paint dry might offer more entertainment and narrative structure. And the music? It's painfully worse than the warblings of a karaoke night gone wrong. Sitting through this movie is akin to throwing away $20 and two precious hours of your life, which you will never get back. It's as if someone took an amateur film project, devoid of skill or artistry, and somehow managed to get it on the big screen. It's not just a missed opportunity; it's a misstep into the realms of the unwatchable.

Let's be direct: this film is an unmitigated disaster. Its narrative is utterly non-existent, wandering aimlessly without any semblance of purpose or coherence. The cultural references it tries to employ are so egregiously misplaced that they provoke laughter, albeit for entirely unintended reasons. The acting is another point of contention; it's so devoid of any real emotion or substance that one might argue a wax museum exhibit offers a more compelling and nuanced performance. The characters are flat, their development nonexistent, and the plot twists so predictable that any potential for suspense is immediately nullified. The dialogue is cringe-worthy, filled with clichés and lines so wooden they could splinter. Overall, it's a cinematic endeavor that fails to achieve any of its artistic ambitions, leaving viewers with nothing but a sense of bewildered disappointment.

A Fragile Flower differentiated itself from other movies by the storyline. It's a story about a new Vietnamese American singer who struggles with love, fame, luxurious life, and what she must give up to have peace and hopefully happiness .... We have heard "you only live once". Would she regret her choice in the end?!

This movie captured many beautiful scenery all over the United States. Gorgeous movie costumes. The movie time ran a bit short and dialogues are also short and straight to the point. More than 10 songs were performed in the movie, mostly in Vietnamese, and kind of soft and romantic songs. I want to say that this movie is very "clean". Recommend for the senior generation.
