End on a High Note

Margaret, Todd and Allison go to the opera with some of them finding Verdi sleep inducing.

The star Jacqueline Burton ends up accidentally stabbing her co-star and understudy who dies.

When hearing that the victim was sue to be replacing Jacqueline. Margaret immediately becomes her lawyer, after all she is also Lyle's mother.

Allison later discovers that the victim was poisoned. She could had survived the knife wound but it was laced with poison

Both Margaret and Todd find out that Jacqueline is a proper diva and a difficult client. She is also demanding of her son.

It was good to see how Jacqueline and Lyle's relationship mirrors that of Margaret and Todd.

The mystery itself was disappointing. It was a bit of a stretch that the knife could just fly off and hit the co-star. It could had gone anywhere.

No spoilers. This episode was hilariously hilarious! Guest appearance by Jenifer Lewis (A beautiful and very talented actress) had us laughing so hard we had to continually rewind just to hear what was being said by the other characters. Her interaction with Allison though,😂😂😂😂. The show as a whole is very funny, we love it! This episode was best by far, IMO. This is one of our favorite tv shows on CBS. All of the characters has found a special place in our hearts. It's very funny, sweet, energetic (usually someone's running). It was hard to watch yet another show this good from CBS knowing it may get cancelled perhaps even before finding the right fan base. But for my household we hope they can keep going strong.
