When it comes to ghosts and romance, I usually stay away. It can devolve into schlocky tropes and predictably. However, this movie was an absolute refreshing change of pace that I absolutely loved. There's an intricate story about dealing with trauma at the heart of the film, and the plot goes in numerous unexpected directions. It's cinematically gorgeous, the apartment set reminding me of a well done haunted house. Also the cast gives excellent performances all around, making you really connect with the characters and their experience. My only criticism is that the intricacy of the plot may be a little clearer on a second viewing. Overall, I really highly recommend this one to anyone looking for a ghost story that's not going to end where you think it will. Fantastic!
Oh, where do I begin with this masterpiece of cinematic brilliance? The basic concept is nothing short of a genius concoction of utter nonsense, a true testament to the filmmaker's disdain for logic and coherence.
The story and narration? Absolutely bonkers, as if scripted by someone who had never encountered the notion of a coherent plot.
The screenplay? Well, it's a treasure trove of stupidity, with scenes so bafflingly idiotic you can't help but marvel at the audacity.
And the dialogues? Pure poetry, if your idea of poetry is a series of ludicrously silly exchanges that would make a toddler cringe.
Ah, the direction! Equally stunning in its mediocrity. A masterclass in how not to direct a movie.
Ashish's acting is a revelation, in the sense that it's below average even on a good day, with dialogue delivery that sounds like he's reading a grocery list.
Vaishnavi, bless her heart, gave it her all, which is commendable given the material she had to work with.
The rest of the cast? They tried, oh how they tried, valiantly attempting to make something out of the cinematic equivalent of a dumpster fire.
The art work and cinematography are good, which is a delightful contrast to the train wreck unfolding on screen.
And the music? It's okay, in the way that elevator music is okay - it's there, it's passable, but it certainly doesn't save the day.
Watch this film only if you're in the mood for some self-inflicted torture. It's a true marvel of modern filmmaking, designed to test the limits of your sanity.

Watching this movie was a regrettable experience-two precious hours utterly wasted. The plot was a chaotic mess, filled with disjointed scenes and illogical twists. Characters were shallow, acting out absurd actions with no clear motivations, making it impossible to care about them. Dialogue was cringeworthy, and the special effects, though plentiful, were overused and distracting rather than engaging. Even the soundtrack failed to match the tone of the film, further highlighting its incoherence.
Ultimately, this film is a major disappointment, an ill-conceived blend of clichés and nonsensical elements. Save your time and avoid this cinematic disaster. There are far better ways to spend two hours.

Yo, the whole vibe could've been smoother, but then it'd just be another basic horror-comedy. What I'm tryna say is-it's different. The way the main dude puts in mad effort to help the girl outta her trauma? Legit fire, no cap. And that big twist at the end when we're like, "Ghosts aren't real... right?" Boom, mind blown. But hey, I ain't tryna spoil it for y'all. If you want something fresh, go peep it. It's hella gripping. It's not even about having a groundbreaking plot; it's how everything's executed that slaps........ filling this space to hit that character minimum too. Because gotta follow the rules and all. Otherwise, I'd keep it short, but yeah-top-tier presentation and everything's on point.
I. M. D. B reviewers have done a disappointing job by rating this movie 4.4/10 (as of 24/10/24). This movie deserves a 8+ rating.
Ashish Reddy, who plays Arjun, is fantastic as a practical, yet daring YouTuber who unravels mysteries with a passion. His chemistry with Vaishnavi Chaitanya, who portrays Priya, is electric, bringing heart and depth to the story. Their evolving relationship-set against the backdrop of an eerie, haunted apartment-offers a fresh take on love, defying time and life itself.
What I found most exciting was the film's bold and unpredictable twists. The way the supernatural was handled was both chilling and poetic, particularly with the ghost of Divyavathi, who becomes central to the story. The gradual revelations keep you at the edge of your seat, especially the jaw-dropping double twist at the end that ties the past and present in a hauntingly beautiful way.
Technically, the film is a masterpiece. M. M. Keeravani's haunting score perfectly complements the eerie tone of the film, while the cinematography captures the mood with stunning visuals. Every scene felt meticulously crafted to immerse the audience in this dark and mysterious world.
Ultimately, Love Me If You Dare is a perfect balance of romance and suspense. It dared to tell a unique love story, one that explores the power of love even beyond life itself. I was hooked from start to finish and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable cinematic experience.
