Some films are enjoyable in the theater, but you never feel like watching them again. Sundarakanda is not one of them. I could easily see myself rewatching this with family or friends on a weekend. The comedy holds up, the romance is sweet, and the emotions are sincere. It is the kind of film where even if you already know what happens, you still enjoy the ride. That, to me, is the mark of a good entertainer.
