As in the previous episode, once again I'm impressed by the flow, amazing quality, stylish vibe, great acting, gripping continuity and suspenseful atmosphere with new road and warehouse drama, the crown this time incontestably going to Harry and Kat.
After seven episodes, already electrocuted, dismantled and dismembered, we are back in business and owe a big one to Kat.
Conrad and Maeve will never be the same again.

This episode was so good I had to give a rare 10!
Burl Ives, as Big Daddy in 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof' says: "There ain't nothin' more powerful than the odor of mendacity! You can smell it. It smells like death." There is mendacity afoot in the House of Harrigan, and it's coming from inside the house.
Director Lawrence Gough and writer/series creator Ronan Bennett delivered an absolute gem. The pace of this episode never slows. Intrigue abounds. Treachery is everywhere. Double crosses. Triple crosses!
Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, once again, shine. They're playing Shakespeare. She is Iago to his King Lear.

I don't normally write reviews but then again I don't often look forward to watching the next episode of a series as much as I do this series so I thought I owed it to them. It's just a fantastically entertaining show but then again I am a fan of Guy Ritchie. He manages to create a whole world populated by, slightly over the top, but rememberable characters. I always feel totally immersed in a Guy Ritchie world and I don't care if it is "unbelievable" as some of those here criticizing, I don't want believable, I want Guy Ritchie's unique vision of reality. I realize it might not be to everyone's taste but I sure love it.

I swear this show gets better and better with each episode. I just can't get enough. Not to drop a spoiler but the blood shed this week was insane. The intensity in every scene keeps me on the edge of my seat. I watched it twice actually to make sure I didn't miss anything.
I look forward to getting up at 1 to watch. The writing is amazing as well as the acting. I know I have said this before but Guy Ritchie is such a creative genius. The actors are perfectly paired with their characters. Especially Tom Hardy who is so fantastic and can play any part he takes in. Just love him and love this show.
I can't even imagine how the last episodes are going to play out. The story has been on point with each episode as the stories flow so smooth with each point.

After giving all preceding episodes a "9", this one is very disappointing.
The storyline becomes very far-fetched and not believable. I am not going to say more about that, as I don't want to have to press the Spoiler button.
As others have written, there are a number of goofs and the acting by Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan, very much over the top. The role played by Joanne Froggatt - supposedly an intelligent woman, becomes stupid and therefore unbelievable.
One other point: I live around the corner from Ritchie Stevenson's house in this series and pass it every day. In January (2025), the road was closed several times whilst filming took place, causing great inconvenience to all in the area. It's just off the A1 in North-west London.

- TriviaJordi Mollà uses his native Barcelona accent when speaking Spanish instead of a Mexican accent, as he's playing the narco Jaime López.
- ErroresThe scenes in Antwerp and outside the big house were filmed in winter as was looking out of the bedroom at the helicopter landing but the scenes looking out from the big hall show the trees as having leaves.
