A little shy of Lorre's quick witted sexually-tinged repartee but then of course it's a Southern twist & that's just not their style. Can definitely live without the laugh track. They're silly and pointless. Surprised he hasn't quite moved on from that.

We binged it and thought it was fine. Mostly predictable twists and turns.

I cannot watch this show! I love Leanne Morgan, but I abhor a laugh track! It's absurd! I'll laugh when it's funny. But it is obnoxious to have to listen to laughter after every line is delivered. So fake!!!

So tho this might be a funny show, the fake laughter makes me nauseous!

Too bad for Leanne that the show is ruined with this antiquated bs!

I just have to get my two cents in. I love this show. As the title of my review suggests this is my thing.....no raunchy, obscene half witted situations. I am rooting for Leanne especially with this unexpected team-up with Chuck Lorre who I am an ardent fan of. On a previous review the guy said he does'nt find it funny but I disagree...nice clean soft humor is my thing.

The first episode is very clunky. It just feels weird. But as you get through the second you can clearly see everyone settle in together. Go back to any new show and watch the first few episodes and they'll be clunky. Big Bang was clunky like this too. But once you're into the story, you can see everyone settle in. Leanne gets over her nerves and starts looking much more natural. She's a brilliant comedienne and I absolutely adore her. This is a great show to watch when you just need something lighthearted and gentle.

To be honest I was not expecting to like this show. I think Leanne is a great comic and the cast and crew involved are solid, but the trailers made it seem like just another run of the mill, overdone sitcom; with predictable plotlines and even more predictable character arcs. However- the first five minutes alone had these ideas completely flipped on their heads. These stereotypes more so serving as a familiarity, a comfort to get you on your feet. You know how it's going to play out, sure, but the way the show conveys the story is fresh and addictive. While I think some episodes could have been cut down (though it is nice to see a 16 episode straight to streaming show!), Leanne is a series I can see myself coming back to when I just need something to laugh about. It may not be the most profound show ever, but its charm and wit are definitely worth the watch.

If you weren't already familiar with Leanne's work as a comic, this series will make you want to be.
