Not exactly sure how to feel about this. The premise is good, the first half of the movie is good but then it kinda falls off after the second half.
The acting of the protagonist is so nice that he is probably the reason you wanna keep watching the movie.
It just feels like the execution of the movie could be... better I guess.
Still, not that bad.

"Wall to Wall" (2025), co-directed by Kim Tae-joon and Sharon S. Park, is a South Korean psychological thriller that transforms the relatable frustrations of apartment living into a gripping and often anxiety-inducing experience. It follows a man whose dream of homeownership turns into a nightmare of mysterious noises, financial strain, and escalating neighborly conflict. The film excels in its initial build-up of tension and its sharp social commentary on modern urban pressures and economic inequality. While some critics note that the plot can become a bit overstuffed in its later acts, the compelling performances and claustrophobic atmosphere make it a memorable watch.
Is it worth watching? If you're a fan of intense psychological thrillers, especially those with a strong social commentary and a willingness to explore uncomfortable realities, "Wall to Wall" is definitely worth your time.

Woo Sung is an ordinary office worker in his 30's. He has succeeded in buying his own apartment, which was his lifelong dream. To buy the apartment, he used all of his savings.
Wall to wall would have been improved if it were a far more simplified, less complicated tale. The tonal changeover, from psychological thriller to high-concept conspiracy, makes it lose some of the effect it has so diligently built up in the first half.
Despite the incredible performances in this thriller, the foundation it rests upon starts to crumble once things run out of steam. And Every attempt the movie makes to one-up itself has the opposite effect.

The storyline was pointless, the supporting characters were discarded halfway through and the lead character was frustrating as hell. During the whole movie I was waiting for the moment where the penny dropped and we understood what it was all about, but the penny didn't drop, it just rolled in slowly without any explanation for why. One minute he is at war with all his neighbours then they are never seen again in the whole movie. Felt super pasted together to try and come up with something but failed on every level. Being a massive fan of Korean movies this was a big let down, I expect better from Korea and this wasn't it. For reviewers saying this is the best Netflix movie??? You need to watch more movies because if you think this was amazing then you are gonna be blown away when you actually watch a good one. Don't waste your time.
Wall to Wall starts with an intriguing premise and a strong visual atmosphere, but it quickly loses momentum due to pacing issues and overcomplicated plotting. The film stretches its runtime with unnecessary subplots and minor characters that don't contribute meaningfully to the main story.
The core mystery-centered around mysterious noises and psychological tension-had potential, but the reveal feels unconvincing, and the villain's motivation comes off as forced and illogical. Instead of a tight psychological thriller, we're left with a bloated narrative that tries to say too much, yet doesn't fully commit to any of its ideas.
