If the premiere was just a reflection and prologue (AND an epilogue?), then this is the premiere people were probably actually expecting.
It feels good to be back. I love how natural and realistic all of the dialogue and acting is. Writing and acting out stuff like this probably takes forever to get right! Reminds me a bit of Uncut Gems in terms of pacing and dialogue and screaming, ha! I do genuinely love Carmy. He's screwed up quite a bit and hectic and rude, but he still TRIES to make time for what's important and who is important, even if it doesn't always work.
It was also just very funny. I was laughing throughout the episode. I don't personally feel like the series has outstayed its welcome and I'm very much so looking forward to more.
Also, the manic pacing seems to be coming back. This one started off pretty quiet and then got progressively louder and more crude as it went on in typical Bear fashion.
So far so good!

This show is unique and very Well done and also Unusual format.
Some times nothing happens for a while, huge long shots with music of just montage or scenery, and then Way too much happens at a very high volume. That's cool.
However, Bear just went insane over one episode. Ok...it happens in life too, I just hope the creators, in an effort to make each season MORE!!!! Just simply continue tell us about these peoples lives.
The fights between Richie and carm Are super super annoying!
I mean, I don't really want to watch a show with an A hole for a lead who continually makes a ton of dumb mistakes because he's emotionally regarded.
Im afraid they will jump the shark trying to create DRAMA!!
Ugh.

After a horrible first episode, the bear and it's cast totally redeemed itself with this absolutely hilarious episode...The bantering and conversation in this episode was amazing, some fantastic performances here. After the first episode I was worried the show had lost what made it so fantastic, yet the whole cast, direction and writing is phenomenal in this episode..The compassion Carmen trys to show Marcus speaks volumes for how difficult it is for Carmen to connect with others, as he is always trying to internalize his emotions...just can't say enough about how fantastic this episode is in acting and overall production. I fell in love with the show all over again. I hope this formula continues as I progress in this season..a 10/10 for me just fantastic.
I loved the first two seasons. Easily 8 to 10 stars for every ep in those first two seasons. This is terrible. No storyline left. No plot left. Repetitive. Oh my it is bad. It Went absolutely nowhere. I can only think the initial reviews coming in here are from people who haven't watched it or have been paid. It is utter rubbish and it's a real shame as I was looking forward to it so much. Still good acting however the lack of story and going nowhere obliterated any good acting and film work. Another disaster of a show after a couple of seasons. I have now watch the second and third ep as I thought I would be patient in the hope that was just a bad start. Nope. I could not believe it. Second and third ep are much the same but just add lots of pointless stupid fighting in and that's it. I get it. They cook food and fight. But it went nowhere else.
After finding the first episode to be slightly underwhelming, this second episode jumped us right back into typical The Bear pace. And speaking of the first episode, this second episode gave me a better appreciation for previous one because it piggybacks really nicely on what we saw from the first one to logically set up the conflict for this episode.
And having the whole duration of the episode be about this conflict and all of the important characters dealing with it in real time in the same location is the absolute right decision and is in my opinion the strong suit of this show (as seen in S1E7, S2E10, among others). And it goes without saying that the acting and dialogue were stellar as usual and I was completely blown away when the credits started rolling because I couldn't believe 27 minutes had gone by so quickly.
