The Hand of God

Horrific start to a much better show, ashamed of the 5.3/10 overall right now, should be atleast 7.6/10, nikolaj costa waldau and Nortons performances have really helped this show, great ending, and I hope for a season 2, even though the ratings are horrific right now, the show developed from a horrific paper thin plot story, to an well developed ending.

This has SUCH promise but it gets so much of the history wrong... "Braveheart" levels of timeline twisting. Showing characters who literally couldn't speak English as speaking it. And I'm sorry but despite all wishful thinking these days, there WERE no African warriors fighting in the Anglo Saxon army.

Worth a watch if you're sick or snowed in and need something to binge without having to spend any time THINKING.
