Midnight Snack

Midnight Snack is actually a solid animated horror short. It has some flaws - like the flashlight beam not behaving quite realistically on screen, or the (gas) stove somehow working when nothing else works - but the story itself is genuinely scary and sent chills down my spine. What makes it work best is the pacing: the horror doesn't kick in right away. Instead, the film builds tension and suspense slowly before unleashing sudden, otherworldly terror. The premise is simple - a homeless man seeks shelter in an abandoned house with multiple units, but he can only enter one. And, of course, there's a terrifying reason why. If you're a fan of horror, this is definitely worth a watch.

A homeless, in winter, discovers a shelter in a house under sequester. In a wall , a potatoe satisfied his hungry. But the things are more complicated - the potatoe seems be more that it seems and its owner is decided to punish the thief.

And when the escape seems sure, an accident changes everything.

A short animation seductive for the precise crafted suggestion about what you know. The poor homeless is familiar from so many others films, the owner of house, the clues about future events are not original, în same measure. But the end, admirable, is provocative to...poetic.

In short, just charming ( in measure this term works for a short horror ).
