This movie claims to expose many events in China, but in reality, it has no understanding of these events and its story is inconsistent. The characters are too dull and the plot is too straightforward. It doesn't feel like a thriller at all and it completely failed to pique my interest. I gave it 3 stars because, for God's sake, I don't recommend it to anyone.
The plot is too exaggerated and confusing, and the plot cannot be connected at all, so I gave it a two-point rating. It is a very bad movie. I suggest that those who have not watched it should not watch it. There is no need to waste time. Go and watch other more exciting movies. Another point is that this movie is made up and I feel it is fake.
I watched this movie on Tuesday, and it stuck with me.
I wasn't expecting much, but it really got to me. It felt honest, and kind of heavy in a quiet way-like it's not trying to be emotional, but it still hits you deep.
It's not some cookie-cutter film. There's something real about it-like the people who made it didn't care about impressing anyone, they just wanted to tell a story that meant something. And somehow, that makes it even more powerful.
The acting's great too. No overacting, no drama for drama's sake. Just natural, believable performances. It honestly feels like you're watching real people go through real stuff.
You can also tell this wasn't an easy movie to make. But they didn't play it safe. They took a risk, and you feel that. I really respect it.
If you're tired of the same old predictable stuff and want to watch something that actually makes you feel something-this is it.
A must-watch.

Just watched this film, and I have to write something... It's really something special. It's rare to see an indie movie take on such a big, complex subject with this much depth and emotional weight. On the surface, it's a medical thriller, but underneath, it feels like an epic - a story that goes far beyond one character or event and touches on something much greater.
The film doesn't rely on flashy effects or over-the-top spy action. Instead, it builds tension through its characters, the moral stakes, and the sheer difficulty of the choices they're forced to make.
It's one of those rare indie films that dares to tackle something bold, and actually pulls it off.

The acting is as immature as a student's homework. The male and female leads remained expressionless throughout the scene, and their interactions appeared awkward, stiff, and exceedingly dull. The dialogue lacks emotional depth, thereby undermining the efforts of the supporting cast. Films with such overt political overtones tend to lack broad appeal.

- TriviaActor Jourdan Chow, who was an extra as a police officer, was the only one on set who experienced China's zero-Covid policy. He was able to speak to some of the crew members on the set of the hospital to provide some details to make the scene more authentic.
