Great episode. The beginning is very captivating and it makes you want to watch more. I even considered to read the manga, but I'll try to watch the entire anime first. The animation is great, very fluid and well-done. The voice acting was great too. It already shows the character development throughout the episode, with him losing completely the hope about humanity. It shows that he will seek for vengeance and makes you wonder how he will be able to go up there again. Rudo was shown to be very fast, but it's necessary to wait to see his abilities. In overall, a great first episode. I predict that this anime will be surely very good.
The first episode of GACHIAKUTA, "The Sphere," is a well captivating start that hooks you right away. I went in with pretty low expectations, not gonna lie, but this episode totally blew me away!
The animation is solid, with some CGI monsters. The art style's pretty nice too, nothing too flashy but it works.
Unlike some shows that overload you with characters and world-building, this episode keeps things simple and easy to follow. I haven't read the manga, but I had no trouble understanding everything-well, except for that mysterious guy, who's got me curious.
The episode introduces the Gachiakuta world, touching on the upper-class society, tribesmen, and the pit without overwhelming you.
The relationships between Rudo and Regto, and Rudo and Chiwa, are written and executed really well, making you care about them from the start.
Overall, this pilot is a perfect that'll make you wanna binge the whole series. Definitely a great kickoff!

The start is pretty much like any action anime or revenge imo, I do like the style and so far storyline, music, animation, voice acting is really good and it's enjoyable so far but I hope it doesn't do the same thing other revenge anime's do since I have never really read the manga but took glimpses. I also so far really enjoy the setting and the many different types of character designs which look really good. I also do think they could have improved on giving more context of the father. The animation for this is amazing and Rudolph at the end is just a masterpiece to where he crashes out which made me hype, so this episode was a good intro.

Speechless for this masterpiece.
Rudo's story is incredible; the part where he wants to go after revenge makes it 100x better; the character development is also very good. Simply one of the best anime/manga I've ever seen in my entire life. I waited for the Gachiakuta anime for 2 years very good also the part about the development of the world with the division of "poor" and "rich" simply the Rudo is one of the best revenge protagonists in the history of anime, I think a chiua and Rudoshould stay together... Rudo he was very unfairly treated, he shouldn't have gone through all of this simply gachiakuta.

This episode is an excellent introduction to the anime. It quickly draws us into the world and helps us understand Rudo from the very beginning.
It's a gripping start that sparks genuine curiosity for what's to come, while also taking us through a wide range of emotions.
The visual quality is strong, and the sound design is absolutely outstanding - it elevates the entire experience.
The only downside is that the episode sticks a bit too closely to cinematic storytelling conventions, which makes some parts a little predictable. You can often tell what's about to happen next.
But even so, it still manages to surprise us in key moments, and everything is executed with care and skill.
For me, it clearly deserves a 9/10.
