Ek Don Teen Chaar

From the very beginning, movie is engaging. The film's music is amazing, with a soundtrack that perfectly complements the emotions and pace of the story. The director skill-fully targets both younger and older audiences, making the themes of love and connection universally relatable.

The setup and cinematography are exceptional, with breathtaking shots that enhance the film's emotional depth. The roles are well-balanced, allowing each character to shine while contributing to the overall story. The transitions between scenes are seamless, creating a smooth and immersive viewing experience.

The film particularly excels in how it utilises the dummy babies to engage the audience's emotions. Initially bought for practice, these lifelike dolls become a focal point for Sameer and Sayali, symbolising their deepening bond and shared dreams. This subplot adds a layer of poignancy and tenderness to the narrative, making their journey more relatable and heartfelt.

However, the initial part of Sameer and Sayali's love story could have been more thoroughly explored. Providing more context on how they fell in love would have generated deeper emotional investment in their relationship, making the audience root for them even more.

Both the actor's performance was amazing but Sayali's acting was outstanding, and she truly conveyed the journey of becoming a mother, making her character's emotions and struggles palpable. Being a male, I understood Sameer but I found myself more connected with Sayali. Sayali's performance allowed me to experience her journey in a profound way, making me understand and empathise with her character's experiences on a deeper level.

As a non Marathi person, I felt we don't need to know the language or even subtitles to understand a well directed and well acted movie 😊
