Well acted and directed film about the unknown and undocumented victims of the 1992 Bijlmer air crash outside of Amsterdam.

A haunting film about a tragic accident when a EL AL Boeing 747 crashed into a housing estate on the outskirts of Amsterdam. The viewer is drawn into the lives of an illegal Ghanian community that live under the radar of the Dutch police. Although you are aware of the imminent disaster about to happen one is drawn into the everyday hopes and struggles of the illegal immigrant characters and their community. The subject of the film,the actors,the music and the direction are treated with integrity. No cheap tricks or sentimentality are used to convey the the tragic disappearance of the victims, that had no official identity.
