2nd episode...not so much.

Wow Deb is annoying and basically ruins the show for me.

Not to mention I really dislike the retelling flashbacks of Dexters mom. I thought this show was supposed to be dexters life flashing before his death. How do either of these 2 things relate. He wouldnt have been there for these things.. Also Dexter was a baby when his mother was killed, not a 4 year old. His brother was 3 or 4. This not only makes no sense, but rewrites what the original had already set in stone.

And ...there wasnt even an indicator that there was a flashback. This episode was also lit poorly. The scenes dont have enough contrast...until the flashbacks..then the contrast is way too high.

I was sceptical when this show was announced because of the drop-off In the later seasons of the original show but this adaptation has been brilliant so far and brought dexter back to the level of the initial 4 seasons Most of the castings have been exceptional so far especially Cristian Slater who has been amazing as Harry Morgan Their are still flaws with some areas with Deb being arrogant and annoying on screen , Bautista hasn't been great either but other than that there's not much bad to say about the first 3 episodes so far If the shows continues like it has done we will be looking at a great return to form.

What I like about the derivative series are the quotes from the original series. They were creative in quoting the original series, quoting the music, quoting the voice of Michael C. Hall, quoting the city and . Mimi metro police Department. How to convey the atmosphere of the 90s and how Dexter balances his daily life with his dark desires. Especially the direction, which succeeded in conveying the atmosphere of the nineties convincingly, while maintaining the tension and excitement that characterized the original series. Overall, the second episode of "Dexter: Original Sin" is a strong addition to the series, delving deeper into Dexter's background and providing new insights into the factors that shaped his character as a serial killer seeking his own kind of justice.

I have to say, I am overwhelmingly pleasantly surprised by how this series is going so far. I was a little nervous about the pacing in the first episode but all is essentially perfect by episode two. The cast is absolutely stellar. Patrick Gibson is so good as Dexter, there were so many moments watching where it really felt like I was watching young Michael c hall. I really love seeing the 70s story line coming into play and I have a feeling it's going to be emotionally devastating from the perspective of Harry. It really feels like the original show and the nostalgia is a joy to sit in. I am so excited to watch the rest of this season.

In all my life, I have never seen a series as beautiful as Dexter. Of course, Dexter's character makes this series so spectacular and we need to connect with him and understand him. I hope that this series, Young Dexter, will be broadcast for many seasons over many years, and the more time passes, the more we will thirst for this series. I am ready to do anything to keep this series in production forever and never end. I have really said little about the beauty of this series. It's a really fascinating, spectacular, and mysterious series, and it has everything you need. In one word, I can say that Dexter's series are more than just a series.
