This episode was just amazing, it had great direction, great animation, and great composting. Altoghther making a stunning episode worthy of being aired on one piece day.
First of the direction, it was just supurb. The smooth cuts, the brilliant action and jaw dropping shots and angles. It is nothing but supurb and has had the best direction in any episode in egghead just because of the incredible glow up compared to the manga.
And of course we can't forget the animation with brilliant moments in the pub to the powerful animation at the end it is nothing less then fantastic.
The best thing about this episodes animation was the consitantsy, in my opinion the last 5 episodes didn't great consitansty having pretty medicore animation throughout and then one stunning seen half way through but this episode never seemed to miss with the animation.
An finally composting, i must say the previous two episodes excluding galaxy impact in my opinion weren't the best and was a waste of the raw animation. But this episode was different, throughout the whole episode the compositing was on point.
So in my final opion i think this was an episode that had perfect pacing, direction, animation and composting and is in a very exclusive group of episode that far exceeded the manga.

The animation is great and kuzan is a cool guy and his humor is great! Also blue hole and sulong bepo was amazing! 10 stars for sure. I love and just love it!and the flashbacks mid kuzan and garp fight was fast, spoiled a few things about the future with flashbacks of when he was an apprentice of garp. The blue hole was a powerful move and i was sad that laws zebra cap was left behind😭Wish the pacing was a little bit better tho and Kuzan's Fighting style and how he uses it was revealed in this episode and i was surprised kuzan didnt bleed from the blue hole and garp telling kuzan to come back to the navy😍 and also im really curious about kuzan and garps past and I want to learn more.! 10 stars for sure.
A lot happened in this episode , quite a lot of things i want to critique and get off my chest but let's first start by saying : What a heartbreaking yet thoughtful episode, i loved that the flashbacks were short and sweet and to the point, that several manga scenes were faithfully adapted to one piece one to one, i loved everything about this episode, the team at toei are truly truly truly pouring out their hearts and souls into creating each and every scene into sheer perfection and as good as they possibly can conjure up, they are perfecting every single device its so fresh to see them going all out on dynamic animation sequences even for little moments, i also liked that the pacing seems quite improved in this episode and that no sequence seemed to be taking any longer than it is supposed to , i feel like if you are a manga only even you can appreciate the anime because i think at this point the anime is putting out such quality episodes that they either match or absolutely uplift the ever living hell out of the source material and make it to a masterpiece , for example the zoro vs king fight is highly regarded as being one of the if not the best single piece of fight animation in anime history, and also one of my favorite eps, i feel like you would as even as a manga reader have to appreciate how they absolutely upscale everything and dial it up to 20 , like some of the scenes they had absolutely no right to go that hard and yet they did, i feel like if you're a one piece fan it is really really really hard not to be happy nowadays because just the sheer amount of dedication and love pouring out of every episode and every one piece project is pure raw fan-service, being a manga reader myself technically speaking i have no necessity to watch the anime but i still do because its awesome, its absolutely beyond insane what toei production is doing seriously, in any case, this is my review for it unlimited/10 , one piece is life. ;->
