Ogre descendant Morihito begins living with his childhood friend Nico, a novice witch, but he soon has his hands full keeping her out of trouble.

On the first day of school, Morihito urges Nico to hide the fact that she's a witch, but she tries using magic to secretly help him out in class.

Nico's mother sends Morihito a letter containing a worrying prophecy. Unable to decipher the meaning, Morihito spends the rest of the day on his toes.

Kanshi explains that Ibuki sent him to protect Nico. After squabbling with Morihito, Kanshi secretly warns him of an enemy within the school.

Nico and Kanshi start an online video channel, but Morihito is annoyed by their lack of originality and asks their hipster classmate Magami for help.

When Kanshi can't pay his share of the living expenses, Morihito hands him a flyer from an amusement park hiring performers for a superhero show.

After a student council vice president makes a dramatic entrance to forbid Nico from using magic, the council's other larger-than-life members arrive.

Kanshi saves Keigo from getting his sneakers stolen. The person who attacked him used a candy called "Drop," which has a stimulant effect that amplifies one's strength and desires. They learn that a person named "Wolf" was distributing this candy, and the ones using this candy to go berserk are called "Dogs." Later, a witch named Nemu Miyao appears before Nico and Morihito.

When he sees the shape of a crescent moon, he changes into a fierce werewolf with a ferocious amount of wild strength. He isolates and attacks Morihito. Meanwhile, Kanshi and Nico are surrounded by Wolf's "Dogs." They devise a simple plan where Nico searches for the witch who is targeting her, so Kanshi can attack the witch.

After things have calmed down, Keigo Magami has moved into the Otogi household. According to Keigo, he'll transform into Wolf if he sees any "crescent-shaped objects." Wolf gives in to his greed and will sleep and eat all day if he can, and even with his sexual desires... And so, Nico, Morihito, Kanshi, and Keigo remove all crescent-shaped objects to lessen the risk of transformation.

Utsuro, Oboro, Sagiri, and Zack have arrived at a building that was used to research something.

Nico's mother, Ibuki, has delivered a new prophecy. Ibuki has an idea who this "ancient retainer" could be, and tells Nico and her familiars to visit them.

The vampire Miharu Kiryu has moved into the Otogi household.

A strange mask was attached to their faces, and Morihito, Kanshi, Keigo, and Miharu were transported to an unknown room while they were sleeping.

Dressed in a miko's outfit, Nico and Kuku are helping out Kara's father, who is the head priest at a shrine. While helping out, Nico uses the spell "Ani-snippy" from shide paper, and creates a moving paper cat.

While tidying the house, Morihito finds a letter Nico wrote to him when they were kids. Nico shares her memories of those days with Nemu and the guys.

Keigo can't use his immense strength unless he looks at a crescent shape. Nico sees that Keigo is sad, so she asks him to become the user for a ring that has "flying magic" sealed inside.

Keigo was troubled because the viewers on his channel weren't increasing. He talks to his roommates about it.That's when Nico comes up with a great idea.

Nico, Kara, and Morihito are having a donut devouring party in Nico's room. When something bad happens or whenever you get tired, then you need to eat donuts.
