Yeo Ri tries to find Yun Gap, thinking his soul is trapped somewhere in the palace. Kang Cheol tells her that Yun Gap is already taken by the Eight-feet spirit, but Yeo Ri can't give up on him.
The king is possessed by the Eight-feet Spirit, but Yeo Ri and Kang Cheol manage to get rid of it. Kang Cheol wants to leave the capital to stay away from the Eight-feet Spirit.
Pung San is pleased to find out that the Queen is pregnant with the King's child, giving the General of Heaven and Earth another child to feed on. Cheol learns from Bi Bi that he needs to kill the body of Gap to get out of his body.
Yeo Ri and Kang Cheol grant the water spirit's wish and bring his remains to his daughter. In return, the water spirit confesses that Aguji was behind the attacks on the Queen.

Pung San tells Yun Gap to pour the mysterious liquid over the warding stone so that the King can claim his body for good. Gap asks Yeo Ri to send him over before he harms the King.
In the end, the Eight-feet Spirit brings harm upon the Queen. Jeong falls into despair and questions why the Eight-feet Spirit takes out its wrath on the innocent for a sin committed by his ancestors.
Yeo Ri tells Kang Cheol they'll escape together, all the while knowing she has no intention of keeping her word.Yeo Ri wants to stop the Eight-feet Spirit on her own before the Spirit takes over everything, so she comes back to the Palace.
