I mean, sort of like a nightmare, it was just insufferable is what this episode was. What hard 270degree whiplash turn did the show just take?!
It was as if the writers were like, alright let's make a great show for a few episodes so everyone is loving it and then we can force feed them these insufferable ideals through this insufferable character.
I was genuinely cringing and genuinely not enjoying the episode. I find that unfortunate, our entire family felt like we were being water boarded insufferable ideology.
Why would anyone think writing such an insufferable character would be remotely a good idea?
Man it was such a simple good kind of corny feel good show at first. So fun. Now just... I'm out.
Someone wake me up when zero ends.

Big fan of Owen, I'm only going to watch the next episode just for him and because I want his character to end well.
The first three episodes were fun, really entertaining, but OMG what an annoying piece of character has arrived, in one episode she took away all the fun started giving lectures and stuff...Also that scene...WOW absolutely weird, it was like everyone broke character for a moment, so unnecessary and out of touch for 2025, I'm not even going to talk about the BBQ scene, cringe beyond belief.
Are we supposed to hate zero right? If yes, well done, it goes beyond hate since it's probably going to kill an otherwise entertaining show. One more episode like this and I'm out.

I'm guessing that the subset of people who likes Owen Wilson and is also interested in golf can't be that large and I'm guessing it's a specific type of person. I can only speak for myself here, but as a white, middle-aged, man, I had high hopes for a show like this. And to then introduce a character like Zero to just dump on people like me got me wondering who the show is for.
Also, the Santi character is quite insufferable. Not sure if that's the writing or the actor. The whole writing of the character is weird. Here's a young man who gets the chance to play golf and I assume live out his dream and then he just acts negatively in every situation and is being rude when it's not even called for. Just weird.
The other three actors are good though, Owen, Mariana and Marc, so props to them for carrying this story so far. Will stop watching now though.

Really enjoyed the first three episodes but the show is ruined now with the introduction of Zero. She is rude, disrespectful, and doesn't deserve to be given anything.
It's not a generational thing, it's disrespect.
I work with teens everyday and this is not an accurate portrayal of them. The scene with the waterfall made no sense and was cringeworthy to watch. It's not even funny.
This episode made us dislike the main character and not want him to succeed. I couldn't care less now whether he wins or loses whereas before I was backing him.
This should be a lesson on the quickest way to ruin a good show.

After an enjoyable and light first 3 episodes, it only took half an episode for zero to ruin the show.
I think Ted Lasso did a fantastic job of being inclusive without it taking over the entire plot of the show. The writers of Stick clearly didn't follow the same script, and because of this, it felt incredibly forced.
This has gone from a show I was excited to watch every week, to a show that I may not continue watching. I will give it one more episode to see if they were just doing this to establish Zero's character, but her taking the caddy job has made it seem like she's here to stay.
ZERO OUT OF TEN.
