Not only did we not get a full God of War episode, which I was looking forward to the most, we didn't even get an APPEARANCE of Ghost of Tsushima like the trailer showed, making the trailer a straight up lie.
I expected more, not a fanservice mash up of games that deserved an episode far more than most that actually GOT an episode.
This episode just felt so forced, which isn't right for a finale of what has otherwise been some pretty great stuff. I get what they were going for here, I mean, how do you do a finale to a show like this, but come on, they could have done so much better.
Really disappointed.

It seems like all the low score reviewers missed, what was right on front of them. All the short cameos, the ending, the reminiscing, it's a criticism towards the grindfest that gaming has been lately, all to unlock a different skin or DLC. The main character encounters all the different IPs, to be reminded of the era, her younger days, when gaming was just about having fun, not grinding for menial tasks (rushing recklessly to deliver paperclips), just so you get the burnt orange paint job.
There was a time when gaming was about getting together, having a blast with friends next to each other, getting immersed in a story and wondrous worlds. Not about flexing virtual goodies to strangers online.
I'm sorry some of you missed that era, and by extension, the happiness and memories all the episodes of the series brought back. I might not have seen (or spotted) even a cameo from my favorite games (let alone a whole episode, outside of the d&d one), but even so, the whole series was heartwarming.
Maybe in time you might appreciate it more.

Undoubtedly the worst episode of the entire series, this episode fails to deliver the engaging storytelling and immersive experience I've come to expect, especially from the first half of the season. Instead of presenting a compelling narrative, it felt like a glorified commercial for SONY and PlayStation, blatantly prioritizing product placement over substance.
What made the earlier episodes so captivating was their ability to pay genuine homage to the original material, like the captivating story of Unreal Tournament, the rich lore of Warhammer, or the imaginative depth of Dungeons & Dragons. These episodes celebrated the essence of their inspirations, weaving stories that respected and elevated their source material.
In stark contrast, this episode felt like an insult. Rather than celebrating gaming culture, it delivered a thinly veiled statement: 'Come to PlayStation. Our walled garden is far superior to the grind you're used to.' Not only did this approach alienate me, it made me genuinely annoyed at seeing all the corporate propaganda.

It's pretty clear that only people rating this garbage a 7 or a 10 are Sony fan boys. It had nothing in it, it's litrally a Sony ad which we have seen gazzilion times already.
Your favourite franchise characters poping at random with no purpose other than to showcase themselves and promote their IPs.
I genuinely can't believe how someone in right mind would rate it above 5, everything in this episode SCREAMS an ad. From minute 1 to the very last, nothing happens, just random game characters appearing out of nowhere and it's not even linked to any kind of short story and abruptly ends cause why not. Giving it a 2 just cause animation was cool.

The episode had some great references to popular games, but the main character was so bad and cheesy it made me cringe half the time. Her final transformation felt terrible, and I hated that they teased a God of War episode only for Kratos to show up for 2 seconds in an otherwise mid story. It's not about her being black-episodes like Exodus, which also had black main characters, were amazing. I feel this episode mirrored Concord in that the characters were just awful. Overall, the execution fell flat despite its promising nods to beloved franchises and potential. It looked like a big AD for sony...
