Mouseboat Massacre

I'm really tired of seeing all these horror movies based on Steamboat Willie and Mickey Mouse instead of getting good, average, or even fun content about them. Why does every character that enters public domain get twisted into some dark, creepy story? I want people to stop doing this to Mickey Mouse and Steamboat Willie.

Will there ever be Steamboat Willie content outside of Disney that isn't associated with horror? I wish creators would focus on making entertaining, respectful stories instead of these grim, unnecessary horror films.

This movie follows a woman battling addiction who starts seeing a mutated mouse-human hybrid-and honestly, it just feels like another lazy horror riff with no respect for the legacy of the original character.

If you're a fan of the classic Steamboat Willie and Mickey Mouse, steer clear of this.

Such bad acting, failed probs( collapsing knife failed ) and effects( blood splatters changing oer scene) , continuity errors where sisters talking, then sister talks to dad, but clearly filmed in day / nights when it cuts from one to the other, and several times during following scenes Using pornstars for the generic sex addict and scenes is expected from these kinds of movies, same actress for the popeye horror too.

When I sat down to watch the 2025 slasher horror movie "Mouseboat Massacre", I have to say that I had zero expectations to the movie, and I figured I would be in for another ridiculous horror movie that cashes in on old cartoon nostalgia. But since it was a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to give the movie a fair chance.

Writer Harry Boxley didn't exactly conjure up a particularly thrilling or entertaining script for the movie. It was a rather bland and generic horror experience. The script had way too much focus on sexual contents, which just made the whole movie far more cringeworthy than I ought to be.

I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. And that was actually something that spoke in favor of the movie, as I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances in the movie were adequate, though don't get your hopes up for anything grand.

At least there was a bit of brutality and blood in the movie to help keep the otherwise bland storyline somewhat afloat. However, it wasn't exactly enough to make up for the lack of a properly entertaining storyline.

Should you enjoy horror movies, then "Mouseboat Massacre" is definitely not a movie that I would suggest you rush out to get to watch. I will say that "Mouseboat Massacre" is as terrible as you would assume from the title and synopsis alone.

My rating of director Andrea M. Catinella's 2025 movie "Mouseboat Massacre" lands on a generous two out of ten stars.

It's really really bad, which makes it really entertaining to watch.

Not to spoil anything but a black man got decapitated and the prop head was of a white mannequin.

Everything about this movie is just great to watch, if you are high out of your mind. Do not watch sober, you have been warned!!!!!
