Yaiba torments Onimaru in an attempt to bait him into a duel. Onimaru refuses to fight - until Shonosuke ransacks his beloved pigeon pen.

After being defeated by Onimaru, Yaiba resolves to get stronger and heads to the mountains in hopes of obtaining a magical sword of his own.
