Episode #1.1

Ok-so 1: I got Passionflix with the 50% off for a year on Valentine's Day because this series was coming out and I'm a fan of the books.

2: I have probably watched at least half if not, 3/4 of the shows available on the app. The acting and production value of those shows set a bar for what I was expecting to see in this show because so much is held in common between all of their productions - and honestly it was pretty low.

3: By time the action stopped for the opening title credits, I was already saying yes this is what JR Ward promised us. They are doing this storyline credit, the casting is spot on, and even due to the limitations of time, there are subtle nods to the nuances in the books.

I started reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood books back in 2007/2008 and been reading every single book since as they release.

So when I heard there was a TV series coming out, my expectations were low considering how past book related shows have been.

Between the characters, the look, the feel and even the script! I could not believe how close to the first novel they had kept it!

The moment I finished the first episode, I was absolutely in love with the show and already hoping there will be a second season. I am so happy with how accurate it is so far!

I Cannot wait for next week's episode!!!

1st episode is exactly how I pictured the beginning of the book!! The characters, Wrath especially? Chefs kiss! The club? Perfect. The lessers? Giving me a deadlier Cobra Kai feel but I think that's just cuz I just finished watching cobra Kai.

I somewhat followed the social media behind this series, I read most of the books up to book 13, and the creators of this show did an amazing job. Ward was right to be amazed and wowed by the characters come to life, because it's amazing. Seriously hope this series gets the reviews and following it needs, I'd love to see how far it could go with the rest of the books too, not just Dark Lover.

I loved reading this series. I was really hoping that the movie would be true to the books. This was the first episode in the BDB series and I must say that the movie was better than I thought it would be. I did feel like it ended in the middle of the book.

The sex scene between Beth and Wrath was hot. I am looking forward to watching the next episode. I really want to see how Miss. Musk handles the rest of the movies.

I loved seeing how each brother closely resembles the characters in the book although I thought that Wrath was a off. I had forgotten that Butch and Beth knew each other first. I hope that its not too long before the next episode comes out.

I'm so excited because this first episode was EVERYTHING I hoped for!!!!! Literally the book come to life and the casting is perfection. I'm so happy JR Ward is part of this show and she has the input for it. I reread the first book just in preparation for the show and it did not disappoint. I'm sure the cast and crew put so much work and dedication into this production and it shows. I think it's smart they are doing a series instead of just 1 movie, as it won't capture the essence of what JR Ward wrote and her intentions. This is gonna be living in my head rent free for awhile haha I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series!
