I saw the trailer and got reminded of A Little Thing Called Love and while I adored that movie it's not without problems regarding one's appearance and this movie presented that the female lead has a similar problem in particular her hair. So I am pleased to say that they didn't follow the same path.

Now this is just a simple story there's no big plot twists or conflict for every character but it does give your heart a tug. I actually teared up watching this when they dug a little deep putting thorns in the plot lines which helped give more depth to our main leads. Because they needed it. If this was a series would've hit so much more.

Ngl I was rooting for the 2nd lead because I thought they had better chemistry during their main scene BUT the main lead actually swayed me to him during his time. The actor is kind of like a depressed puppy? He gives off this vulnerable innocent guy and he was so very sweet! I actually felt my heart flutter during their romantic moments which were so few give how short the running time is.

Overall it's not the best out there but for a one time watch I recommend this if you're looking for something light and fluffy. It's not overly romantic but it does hit still and all the characters are good there's nobody annoying.

As the story goes, it appears that the film use similar K-Drama template which is friend to lover.

But the best thing is the nostalgic vibes of late 1990s school and love live. It appears innocents, sweets, and overall far from the toxic and buzzing social medias.

There are bunch of references, such as paper crane wish, Pager, film cameras, songs, to unique hairstyles.

It add various fun elements to the rather simple storytelling.

Great cast increase the rate! Shin Eun Soo once again proven her capabilities to act as a young teenager from 1990s, just like her role in Twinkling Watermelon!

I just needed something warm and fun, and this movie is exactly that. A simple school romance, sweet and innocent, with a great cast that seems to click really well. You shouldn't watch it for Cha Woo-min, though, he has like three minutes screen time. Of course, the plot is not surprising. If you want plot twist and lots of drama, it's not the right movie for you. But that's quite obvious from the start, I didn't expect anything more than a nice teen love story, and the movie delivers that perfectly.

I had much fun watching it, with laughter and giggling and a few tears as well. Especially the group of friends is just so funny, I really loved them and their chaotic, supportive friendship. They could have dived a bit deeper into the characters and their stories, but you can only do so much in two hours.

I already watched the movie twice (yes, it was this kind of a weekend). It's just the perfect comfort watch whenever you need it, overall very well done.

Thanks to LB I found out that it's a movie and not a series. I was sure it was a series and I never would have touched it otherwise. But I can deal with two hours of silliness no problem :))) It's got all those teen tropes but is somehow still fresh? I don't know how that happens, cause it's not the first 90s Asian drama I'm seeing, but most of those do work somehow. Probably simpler, more innocent times. The characters felt real and they weren't too perfect looking or anything, the look in general was very natural. Personally I don't get the hate for big hair, but anyways. Yes, this is the happy ending version of Twentieth Century Girl in a way. I also burst out laughing a few times, which is always nice. The actors did a nice job, although Se-ri's tone of voice was a little exaggerated IMO, but still, as tropey as her whole personality was, I enjoyed her character, she'd be a nice friend. Yun-seok is a walking green flag, as you'd expect.

I did not really expected a lot from this movie at first but it really crossed the whatever expectations I kept from it.

It's a really cute story , well written , well directed and executed. At first I thought that they would fully be focused on hairs and make straight hair win but this was not the case. Male lead loved her every version as they mentioned it too. It was really wholesome to watch. Great acting by the cast especially our female lead she was soo much into her character,she made her character alive, playful and fun. I really enjoyed every second of her acting it seemed so natural !!

I will not say that this is very different from the kdramas or movies that I have watched but they did not drag the story in 16 episodes which most of the kdramas does nowadays which makes it more better.

Also there's a special guest appearance at the end so watch it till the end for the surprise!!

I would highly recommend this if you want to watch fun,comedy,cute and a good romance story which will lite up your mood then you should definitely give it a try <3.
