Garp and Kuzan - A Master and a Pupil's Beliefs Clash

It is so fun getting to see a clash between such powerful characters. The score was perfect, the cinematography was masterful, and holy hell the impact frames are insane. Such a well done adaptation and if they adapt the next chapter half as good as this then it will be 2 good weeks in a row. The dynamic between Kuzan and Garp has always been interesting and seeing the climax of their fight was a treat. I also heavily appreciate how much better the pacing was in this episode compared to others. The flashbacks didn't drag on too long and they actually felt important to the characters in the story. This is just an all around fantastic episode.

The last 4 episodes were nothing special in terms of animation and quality, so I knew they must have been planning something big.

This episode, just like its chronological predecessor 1115, accomplishes masterful pure visual storytelling along with simply astonishing animation.

There was so many animators that were brought together by the manager of this episode, Chafik, who did a great job on his last episode for the show.

I mean theres not much else to say, just take a watch for yourself, and prepare for next week because its going to be EVEN BETTER (ifykyk)

If anyone on the team is reading this review, you all did a brilliant job together, and I hope you guys come back to One Piece again, because you all created something truly special which says a lot about the bright future ahead for all of your careers.

The animation for this episode was insane. The impact frames on the clash between garp and kuzan were some of the best in the show. The long awaited climax of the fight was animated perfectly. The backstory right before the punch was gut wrenching. This episode was perfect. It sets the stage for the next episode very well and i can wait to see what they have in store for us with koby. One piece is carrying the anime community like always. It is incredible how they can compete with seasonal animes. This episode really showed great choreography and character animation which many people think one piece did not have. 10/10 episode.

As a Hardcore Bleach fan, i hope Bleach too one day gets remake by the same animators as One piece or anything similar.

I can't describe how much respect i have for one piece animators, i hope one piece succeeds so much that it sets standards for animation.

The scenes for garp and kuzan was done really good and the fight was just as usual brilliant.

Looking for impact frames is always so fun, i pause it to analyze the impact frames, they feel really satisfying.

I don't have anything else to say other than Watch this One Piece Episode to feel the well done writing and godly animation by Toei.
