The New Beginning! The Straw Hats Reunite!

Expectation were little high but episode did'nt delivered. Pacing was ok but the cuts were too fast and weird for first time watchers for rewatchers also it was not fine. Onepiece has potential but if they rush and just want to fill the time like this, they better not do anything. Did'nt like that black stroke border were annoying as hell. They should leave the remake to witstudio man if they can't put proper effort they should leave it. They effort for the intro and outro are appreciated but episode was just ok to rewatch. Hope they take review and do better remake in the future if they want to do it.

I love it. The new opening and endings are awesome, the ones sung by SH crew is just golden and fun, the animation looks brilliant. The pacing is handled well , the show really goes by fast, if I'm correct then one pace adapts fishman in 24 eps and the edited version in only 21 with far better animation and sound design, I feel like the updated sound design is a massive plus as well, but overall it's really good and hoping that in the future one piece keeps doing this for arcs and make the arcs even more enjoyable and awesomer than they already are , hopefully entertains us until the anime returns and the remake finally arrives.

Improved pacing is important but it should be made carefully, in this episode things happened too fast and there was some weird cuts like fake nami teleporting to the real nami and it was pretty much a mess in general.

The colours and designs were really weird and the outline of the characters looked like it was at generated from how big the black outlines were.

Because the episode was paced so fast a lot of stuff has been removed and overall some stuff were very junky and confusing, for a rewatch it's not that big of deal but i wouldn't recommend first time watcher to watch this version even tho i feel like that was the whole point of the remake...

The only reason i rated it this high is because it's one piece and the story is good, as for the episode itself it's maybe a 4.

So ye, it's a huge disappointment as for now, if it continue like that i would've preferred that toei would've just animated the concert stories or something...
