Absolutely disappointing. Boal macher jhol created the premise of something good. Khasir Paya failed to deliver. It feels like someone fed an AI all the common horror tropes and told it to mash it into something that fits "Adhunik Bangla Hotel".
Having a vision is one thing but bringing it into the screen is a whole different ballgame. The makers failed to bring that vision on the screen. There is no coherence in the story. Where is the origin of fear? What makes us root for the main character? A very lackluster effort. I understand the point of bringing out the inner tension of the main character in the physical form of fear but they failed to connect.
Come on people, do better. Sound design and the acting was the only saving grace.
