The third installment of Eyes of Wakanda, "Lost and Found," transports us to 1400 AD China, introducing the War Dog Basha on a mission to retrieve a Vibranium artifact.
6/10 for me but non-comic fanatics might find that too high. Why?
Whilst the notion of Wakandan operatives encountering other legendary locales within the Marvel universe holds considerable promise, this particular outing, regrettably, descends into a rather generic and altogether predictable narrative.
Despite what one might imagine as an intriguing premise involving a clash of distinct cultures and fighting styles, both the script and direction rather fail to genuinely engage the viewer or foster any attachment to the central characters.
Basha, evidently intended to present a fresh War Dog persona, sadly comes across as somewhat uninspired, his personal journey remaining curiously flat. There's an attempt to touch upon themes of humility, but these poignant lessons quite simply don't land with the emotional weight we've come to expect from previous episodes. The overall execution feels rather perfunctory, and genuine narrative tension proves elusive.
Ep 3 certainly expands the series' canvas by unveiling yet another scattered artifact, yet its conventional storytelling and inability to truly draw one in makes it a decidedly less memorable chapter.
A missed opportunity, I daresay.... TBH I might have stopped watching here, but then there's just one last episode more - hopefully they can redeem it.

This is probably the messiest episode of the series, in terms of it's writing. It's very simple, generic and predictable, but has some solid action! As a long-time fan and collector of Marvel Comics, though, this episode made me feel very satisfied! It's just unfortunate that the episode quality, on the whole, isn't that great.
¿Sabías que…?
- ErroresThroughout the episode, subtitles (meant to translate foreign tongues into English) fail to include some necessary commas.
