After the painfully slow opener, Episode 2 had one job-to answer the burning question: Who shot the Sarpanch? Instead, it serves up vague hints, half-baked revelations, and a resolution so underwhelming that it feels like the writers themselves forgot what the cliffhanger was about. The tension built over seasons evaporates in a shrug-worthy reveal, making you wonder why you even cared. What was once a gripping mystery now feels like a lazy afterthought, buried under pointless subplots and forced humor. The show's earlier brilliance-where every episode left you eagerly waiting for the next-has faded into mediocrity, where even the biggest twists land with a thud. At this point, the 7.7-star rating (it shows so far) feels like blind nostalgia; are people even watching, or just mindlessly clicking stars out of habit?
If this is how Panchayat treats its audience, maybe it's time to stop waiting for the next episode-and just stop watching altogether. 2/5 (and that's being generous).
