Arcane, the animated series based on Riot Games' League of Legends universe, is nothing short of a masterpiece. From its stunning visuals to its complex characters and gripping story, Arcane redefines what video game adaptations can achieve. Here's why it stands out as one of the best animated series in recent years.
The first thing that grabs your attention is Arcane's breathtaking animation. Created by French animation studio Fortiche, the show blends 2D and 3D animation seamlessly, resulting in a unique, painterly aesthetic. Every frame looks like a piece of art, with detailed textures, vibrant colors, and dynamic lighting. The fight scenes are fluid and exhilarating, showcasing a level of craftsmanship rarely seen in animated series. Beyond the action, the animators use visuals to convey emotion and atmosphere, making the world of Piltover and Zaun feel alive and immersive.

This might not have been the most action packed or intense episode, but I actually didn't mind that they Slowed things down a bit just before the finale!
It allowed for a breathing room to piece together all the information we got, as well as showing us our characters motivations just before the final stand!
This episode made me realize just how difficult it is to see who are the good guys and who are the bad guys! Its all just a bunch of people with their own ideals, their own selfish reasons to protect or avenge.. getting stuck in this cycle of violence that never ends!
Now I can not wait to see where it all ends!

Not just that, but it also gives us lots of space to root for the characters.
I'll try not to spoil too much in order for more people to get prepared but still get surprised with this amazing episode.
Yes, it is a bit rushed, but it doesn't take away from the beauty and magic of the episode and show overall. Many of the situations in the episode create new motivations for everyone and not just motivations. All the stakes get higher, and there's more to risk. It makes it very clear how after the war with Noxus and we'll, for a while now, there is not going back to what it all used to be. This is perfect because once again, the writers show us they know just how to get us rooting for everyone; after episode 7, we want nothing more but for everyone to have a happy ending and with this episode we can expect many to go down if Piltover and Zaun want to free themselves of Ambessa's grip. Truly spectacular and I'm still not over all the twists and turns and sad revelations or the other more 'romantic' scenes.
Nothing will be the same and be prepared for anything because your favorite could either die or come back triumphant. Terrific.

This is prollede the best animated series out there.
Ive never hade the motivation to even make a review before of any media before. But this series definitely deserve it.
First of all. The animation is out of this world. It wouldnt be possible to create such details and effects 10 years ago. It holds up to its technological capabilities.
The story really holds up to the lore of League and even goes beyond to make a compelling story.
The sound and music is so unique and utilizes all the emotions you get from the scenes. Everything about this series is just master fully structured. It really is a work of art. And im so thankful to eksperience peak entertainer of this time. Especially when you look at all this crap Hollywood makes at the moment.

The show is coming to a quick end and I'm so sad that it is. There has been a crazy amount of moments that are beyond great and emotionally captivating as well. This episode continues to deliver on all fronts while progressing the story. The way Viktor has grown as a character is wild. When I first saw him in the second episode of season 1 I would have never thought he would become who or what he is. I know a lot of fans will be happy about a scene that happens within a prison cell. Everything is so good but my favorite things have to be the flashbacks and soundtrack. I have been hoping for an all out war since the beginning of the show and I think the finale will be just that!
¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaAt 28:21, the shot mirrors the first shot of Vi in prison at the end of Happy Progress Day! (2021) when she meets Caitlyn with an abrupt "Who the hell are you?" Both times Caitlyn is letting her out of a cell.
